OMG the Monster on Rye bread is to die for … can’t believe I passed this place so many times and never stopped…now it’s gonna be a place that I’m going to crave and have to drive out just for this

This Crunch & Munch sandwich is a must try! You will not be disappointed! I wanted to order it 4 times that’s how delicious it is! My colleagues had the hot honey crunch and they said it was absolutely amazing! Easy, 10/10

I love Elaine's but only when Elaine is there! The food is made with love but again only when she's there, the staff is rude they don't care and it's just thrown together. When I visit and she's not there I turn around and walk back out the door learned my lesson on wasting my time and money when shes not available.

We had high hopes but it wasn’t very good. Expensive sandwich for what you got, and the bread was very dense.

This is more to let ownership know that we didn't find our $12.42 sandwiches a good value at all. For that amount we expected something at least little more substantial- what we got didn't qualify. The bread was stale and crumbly and that comprised the bulk of the Buff Chick sandwiches three of us ordered. $2 for a bag chips added to an experience I would not repeat. We ordered through Door Dash who did a great job (five stars for service!). Good luck and I hope you take a better look at what you're putting out there. It was on a Sunday but I felt like an idiot for subjecting my football friends to this.

Definitely let down. Two sandwiches took an hour to make. One sandwich was completely wrong, the second didn't come with any cheese when we paid for extra cheese.

Absolutely horrible service. I went in around 3pm. There were two workers. I asked for a turkey, bacon ranch sandwich, cold with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Not hard right? Took 10+ minutes. The guy started making my sandwich and then walked outside and was out there for like five minutes. The girl who took my order went in the back right after she took the order. So they left me upfront by myself for a good 5+ minutes. The guy finally came back inside, Finished my sandwich slowly. Handed it to me without the chips I ordered. I politely asked for the chips, he handed them to me. I left as I live two hours away and was only in town for an appointment. I wanted this to be a good experience. Open my sandwich as I was already a decent amount away from the shop. I got a toasted sandwich with turkey, a bunch of onions and spinach only.(no cheese, no bacon, no ranch, no lettuce, and toasted) Paid $16 for the sandwich and a bag of small chips. Won't be returning!!!!

Great sandwiches and wraps prepared with fresh ingredients, served by friendly staff, in a great City neighborhood. When I head to Cherokee Street it's generally for tacos, so I'd never heard of this place until a colleague suggested it for lunch recently. Very reasonably priced too!If you cross Jefferson Avenue to explore the even livelier section of Cherokee Street, be sure to assume cars don't see you and they aren't going to stop for you LOL. So, act accordingly, and you'll be golden!

Walked in at the same time as another couple. It was as if the staff was unprepared to produce sandwiches. Did they have to go check the hen house for eggs? Slaughter the pigs for bacon? Somehow, two sandwiches took them no less than 20 minutes to produce. Turns out they were preparing batch style and rather than give us ours when ready they prepared two orders at once, and we had to wait for the food for the party behind us. St. Louis, is this the best you’ve got? I do not understand the rating for this place. I cannot comprehend returning to wait 20+ minutes.

Don’t bother. This place served fresh sandwiches at some point but the $10 sandwich I paid for had puny tomatoes, a brioche bun that came straight out of Schnucks bread isle & shredded mystery meat that looked like it came from a packaged lunch meat. Spend your hard earned money where you know you will indeed be getting a flash sandwich & not on a sandwich packaged with garbage from Costco.

Sandwich is not advertised as 6 inches. There's a combo of a half and soup for 10 dollars but I paid 10 for a half sandwich when under the inpression i was getting a footlong? What is a half sandwich to them 3 inches? 2 bites? Bread is reaaaaaally dry. Needs more sauce
