This evening I discovered this lil’ Gem!! Such a cute place with fantastic food to add to the “must go to” places here in St Louis! I had the Sirloin Bruschetta and it was an amazing explosion of flavor! The were able to experience the meat and cheese tray- with a a hot Apricot Compote .... it was absolutely delicious, I’m not sure what they did with the bread that was served with the meat and cheese tray but in every bite it was delicious!

What an amazing little hidden gem, St Louis has so very much to offer a foodie for sure!!! The CoVid rules are in play and followed to the "T" to create a safe environment for all dinning in. It just so happens the owners were in the house entertaining each of their guest!! They have over hauled their menu to accommodate the supply and demand of food items and my goodness have they created an fabulous choices !!! The bread was amazing and this time they had an amazing apricot compote that we just could get enough!!!!

Had a great evening out with my sis. Staff made us feel welcome and were very attentive. The tuna tar tar was amazing and we really enjoyed the cheese board. We probably talked more than we ate or drank but never felt rushed which was great. I've been meaning to come here for years. Glad I finally got the chance.

Ernesto's Wine Bar was a short walk away from the Airbnb my friend and I were staying at. We called ahead to ask if we would need a reservation, the hostess let us know that they were empty. This made me a bit skeptical but we headed there anyways. We were sat down immediately by the hostess/waitress and indeed we were the only people on their back patio. The patio was cute with lights and tables spread out far enough for COVID protocols. There was a relaxing vibe and it continued throughout the night. We ordered a bottle of their Withering Hills Sauvignon Blanc with their 1/2 bottle deal at the recommendation of the waitress and both my friend and I were in Love with it! Light and fresh, it was a perfect summer night wine! When it came time to order we were surprised that the menu had entree section on it and was fairly small. The waitress let us know that they had condensed their menu due to COVID so be aware that they don't have all their usual menu items right now. We ordered the fig & goat cheese flatbreads (I had it without the prosciutto and thought it was incredible), the tuna tartare (it was okay- the tuna wasn't as fresh as I would've liked it), and the zucchini & squash pesto bruschetta (my friend loved this). The dinner was filling but we decided to get dessert as well since we were enjoying the place! We had the chocolate ganache cake with berry coulis which was delicious, fluffy but lovely richness. Could have used a dash more cream on top to balance the flavors but was overall in heaven. We ordered another bottle of the wine to take home as a few more tables started to fill on the patio. I was glad to see they had other customers since this place definitely deserves to be enjoyed! The waitress was exceptionally attentive and professional, and the ambiance was perfect for a quiet summer evening. Hope this place continues to get business and next time I'm back in STL I'll be returning here!

Always good food, service, and ofcourse wine. I always wonder why I don’t come here more often. Romantic atmosphere and in the summer the patio is nice!

Chill little joint that is a bit upscale, but still feel casual. We only popped in for a few drinks and apps and enjoyed our visit. Staff was very friendly and the home made chips hit the spot. The rest of the menu looked good as well.

Not pretentious at all. Solid and not overpriced. Food choices were delicious, wine at the lower price range but really good

Fantastic drinks and food. Good patio. Intimate atmosphere.

Meh, the wine and food are uninspired and very limited. Atmosphere lackluster and unoriginal. Service was fine but no reason to go back.

Great atmosphere and even better food. Ernesto's has a wonderful wine selection and original Ernest Hemingway inspired cocktails for reasonable prices.
