I've lived in STL for over 40yrs and last night was my first time here. I've clearly been deprived all that time. Fun, quirky, cozy place with great service and ample room to spread out and have fun. As others have said, great dive bar, hidden gem, etc. In the case of this place, it's both the journey (to get there) AND the destination (a place you want to be) all in one. From the super cool 100+yr old one lane bridge on the road in, to the money stapled to the ceiling, this place would be equally at home in places like New Orleans or Chicago. I will definitely be back.

I have worked here on and off over 18 yrs, and am beyond happy to be back again. The bar is better than ever and has everything you could want including a shuttle to a secure parking lot, when the parking is full. The atmosphere is one in its own where no matter who you are you will fit in and feel like to family. So come on down to the best kept secret This part of town

Just dropped by The Fireplace Bar and wow, what a spot! The crew there is top-notch – super friendly and always on point. And they can make the best old fashioned. The vibe? Cozy, welcoming, just the kind of place you'd want to hang out at any time. And, oh man, the pizza! It's seriously good – perfect crust and all. It's not just a bar, it's like the ultimate chill spot with great food and an awesome atmosphere. Can't wait to head back!Parking: Easy access to a well lit parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: My parents are both in a wheelchair and frequently visit The Fireplace with no problem.

Threw a surprise party for my husband's 40th this past weekend and it was amazing! Staff was very friendly, drinks were flowing and the karaoke was a ton of fun! I loved how helpful Stephanie was to make sure the party was a success. Highly recommend them for any gatherings you have!!

Quality dive in a weird and unexpected location. The service is good and the crowd is a little more diverse than you might expect based on the surrounding neighborhoods. A friendly place to grab some drinks, shoot some pool, play darts, and chill.
Come for the karaoke, stay for the service. Amazing staff who help out in any way they can.

Well if you love an Epic. Dive bar you've hit the mother load The fireplace has it all. A outdoor patio tent cover if it's raining some games a fire pit and inside you have pool tables darts a giant fireplace and best of all karaoke. This place is definitely out of a movie. And sure to be a place you will never forget. Say hey to Stephanie the owner if you go tell her you had to come check out the magic ❤️ she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet ❤️
splendid
Great place to have a drink and hang out

Google bar close by & that's how we ended up here. Started with a bottled beer that was ice cold but went down hill from there. Ordered 2 subsequent mixed drinks ( one being a simple rum & coke) & both were awful. Friend asked for a Baileys & saw an off brand being poured. Ordered a frozen pizza (the only food they had). It sat long after being cooked so was only warm by time it got to us.Will not b going back.
