Alise is a super nice person and terrific waitress. She makes my experience at Fridas a very pleasant and memorable moment.

Great Service and Food at Frida'sWe had a really good time at Frida's, and a lot of it was because of our waitress, Elyse. She was super friendly and really knew her stuff. She told us to try the fish sandwich with striped bass, and wow, she was right. It was amazing. The fish itself was cooked just right, and it came with this tasty Cajun slaw and remoulade sauce that made it even better. It's like Elyse knew exactly what we'd enjoy. Eating that sandwich was the best part of our meal.Having Elyse help us out made our lunch way more enjoyable. She was more than just someone bringing us our food; she made our whole lunch better with her great recommendation. We can't wait to go back to Frida's and hopefully get some more great suggestions from Elyse.

Healthy and very flavorful menu. If you're on a low Sat fat diet, even better. EVOO instead of butter, tasty meet substitutes and plenty of fish. Bartender also makes excellent cocktails by request.

Sat at the bar for dinner and some drinks last night and I will DEFINITELY be back. The bartenders were very attentive and made some great drinks. The food was excellent - we tried the spring rolls, enchiladas and kale salad. The vibe was excellent at the bar. Extremely cute. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Beautiful bar area. I got a virgin hibiscus margarita, and it exceeded my expectations. Service was very friendly, but a bit slow. Our dinner was 3 hrs. I did enjoy talking to my friend so it wasn't bad. Maybe they noticed that we were immersed in good conversation so didn't check on us very often. I got the coconut curry, which was awesome and creamy with kick. The Brussels sprouts were good. I prefer them a bit crispier. The avocado mousse was Aa-maaaaazing!!

Frida's was my personal food angel from vegan heaven in my current contactless delivery takeout spree. I am not vegan or vegetarian, but eating cuisine of the like makes me feel better about myself when I'm too lazy to cook and too out-of-funds to order anything but greasy $5 pizza and cheap burgers and fries. Did I still order burgers and fries? Yes. But it was a black bean burger with "skinny fries" and brussel sprouts as a decorative side for a little extra greenery on my plate. The luxury of being able to order two versions of a burger and fries at a vegan restaurant is not lost on me, and for that: thank you Frida's. The black bean burger had a great flavor with all the ingredients I love: avocado, onions, cajun aoli, cheddar cheese (dairy free), and bread, brioche style. The patty could have been more compact - my handheld became a fork-and-knife endeavor-but still, loved it. The fries I won't speak on because they were cold, charred, and not only skinny, but incredibly short. Thankfully, where a crispy, flavorful fry should have been, a roasted brussel sprout was. Who knew they served a greater purpose than a greenwashed culinary decoration? They do that and so much more at Frida's, and for that reason, I will make it a priority to visit in person next time.

I have been stalking this place for so long! I normally go to the sister restaurant, Diego, but finally decided to venture into Frida's. The place is so nice in the inside. Very comfortable semi casual ambience. It seems it could transition from casual to dressy in the evening time, so you could feel comfortable stopping in after a day of shopping on a Saturday, like I did. I was immediately greeted by the hostess and found my way to the bar. The bartender was awesome, and very skilled with drink making. He made this old-fashioned that was mixed so well, I almost guzzled it down. And the food was amazing. I actually tried a special that was off menu... Striped bass over mashed potatoes with grilled asparagus. The food was amazing! The fish was cooked to perfection and I normally don't like Bass seared but for some reason this one was so good. The whole plate was super flavorful. I ended the meal with the banana foster ice cream and it was great. I plan to come back and try the lunch menu soon.

I have taken eight people here. No one has ever had trouble with the menu. Everyone was pleasantly surprised at their dish (even the meat eaters) and all want to come back. ??

Best vegetarian restaurant in St. Louis, with the best decor or any restaurant in St. Louis! Owner Natasha has attention to detail unmatched in my experience.

From entry thru departure, our experience was fabulous! Valentine prix fix meal was amazingly. As a vegetarian I truly appreciate Fridas! Waitstaff and bartender were attentive and superb!

Main dishes my group ordered were disappointing, with little flavor. Tacos, Reubens, grilled cheese were all bland. Seasoning is needed for a Reuben. Tacos had to be drenched in hot sauce. Service was extremely slow for a near-empty restaurant during Saturday lunch. Won't be returning.Vegetarian options: Restaurant is vegan focused with some dairy options

Drinks were great, the bar is really nice with a cool vibe. I can see myself going back for a drink in regard to the food I think it was okay, and without the bar my rate would be 3 stars. The pan seared salmon was okay, the whole dish was solid with lentils and spinach. The brussel sprouts were less crispy than I expected but that might just be me.Service on the slow side on what I think wasn’t too busy of a night.Worth mentioning in case you got to this point without knowing it, this is a pescatarian restaurant with several vegan options as well

I'm afraid I scared the hostess with a larger group at the last minute. She worked hard to be accommodating. She handled the situation well. It worked out, thank you. (2/10 6pm)

Underwhelming

The service was good but the food was meh. My tacos were rather bland. My friend said her grilled cheese sandwich was trying too hard - too many added flavors. My other friend said her Mushroom Rueben was just so-so. One person liked the Station Burger, but that might be because she had it Station #3 and said it was the same. My friends and I agreed - their sister restaurant, Station #3 had much better tasting food.
