I never actually worked for another company through Kforce, so I can't comment on their interactions with other employers. I can however compare their experience with a different recruiting company. First, I got a call from Kforce because they saw my resume on a job site. I went in to talk with about about what I was looking for. They have an exclusive contract with a large well known company in the area that I won't name. They like to throw the name around to get people excited. A recruiter called me soon after and described a position she had, that she thought she could fill with me, given my recent college degree. The job description was basically exactly what I was looking for at a well known company, and I was very excited. "I'm glad you're interested! I will check in with them and call you later today, if not today then definitely tomorrow." End of the day, no call. Tomorrow (Friday) goes by, still no call. I call her Monday morning to check the status, at this point I assumed the job was gone, but I was still quite annoyed that she made me an informal promise she didn't keep. No answer, so I leave a message just explaining that I'd like to know whats going on. I leave a message again the next day. And then a final message the next day begging for an answer. Two weeks (really) go by, and I get a call back from that recruiter, "Yeah, sorry about that job it basically fell through." I guess they didn't have the decency to follow up with me until the job had been filled. I was pretty angry. A few days later I got a similar call from a different recruiting company. The recruiter was very kind on the phone, zero pressure or promises, so I came in to talk with them. I got a call later that day and they offered me a temporary job with a definite ending date on the spot. Secured me a job in literally the same day, much better than my experience with Kforce! After that job ended, I got another call from Kforce. It had been a while since my last experience with them, so I gave them another chance to talk about a possible job at the same company as before. The pay was a little less than I was looking for, and It was an indefinite length contract, which they wanted me to do for at least a year. (Unless your salary is high, who wants to be a "contracted employee" for an indefinite length of time, possibly for years, with no job security?). I also felt pressured into accepting it that same day. I told them I didn't feel comfortable accepting it without talking to a manager at the actual company. The whole deal seemed pretty sketchy, so I followed my instinct and later politely declined the offer. After these experiences I doubt that I will be working with Kforce again.

From hanging up on you the second when your phone conversation ends to immediately turning your back on you and walking away when an interview ends.....the Kforce sales representatives make you feel like a number, not a person. We are human beings, not targets to make them money. P.S. Kforce never called me back after my interview. They have not set up any interviews with employers for me.

Very disappointed in Kforce. They make a lot of promises and don't deliver. Other staffing firms were trying to get me the job but Kforce told me to cancel with them because they would get me the job and they didn't. They even called me on a Saturday morning to fire me from a previous job. Do not trust them, use a different service.
