Tried this place for the first time last weekend. That was a mistake. The service deserves a 1 or 2 stars but luckily their smash burger and fries were a saving grace to bring them to a 3 star. I ordered 2 burger meals over the phone and a woman said it would be 15-20 minutes. I got there in 20 minutes and all she says is "They're out of meat. That's all I know." Uh okay? If you don't have menu items, take them off your menu and don't let people order. Not that hard. Okay so now I have to wait. I sit at the bar and the vibe is so weird in this place... from music, to lighting, to people, it just wasn't a place I cared to be or would see myself going again. Nearly 30 minutes later my food comes out and I go. Roughly an hour long ordeal. Again, the food was pretty good. I liked the bread and butter pickles a lot. And to the new blonde bartender working her first night, thank you for being the only one that apologized and tried to talk through the situation with professionalism. They don't deserve you.

I tried 4 beers. All tasted off. I wonder if they clean their lines properly.Burnt burger...but was still good. Wife had a burnt sandwich....twice.Great live music. Food was great.Service was poor. It wasn't a bust evening.

Great spot in Soulard. This place is near McGurks and Eat Crow. Always excellent service. They have a good patio in the back. Usually not shoulder to shoulder like McGurks, but can get crowded at times.

I came here last night, and it has a dive bar vibe. Several people were sitting in the bar area and getting their night started early. Meanwhile, I only stopped by for a drink and saw this online through my quick search. The bar has good drinks, and they're affordable (for once)! My dog was with me, so I sat outside in their patio area. It was spacious, too. I would come here again with my friends for a chill, dive bar feel.

We used to go there alot in the 90s. Went there on my sandwich Sunday. Unfortunately was told ownership had recently changed and menu was different than on Google. Did not eat there. Looks like a cool place

It never seem to amaze me when I visit anywhere in Soulard. It's a place all it's own. I grew up in Soulard and I feel I was bless in so many ways. Soulard is located well south of downtown with it being close to the hood but far from the rift raft. I was able to walk about a mile when I was a kid and never seem to far from home in the 70's and 80's being a kid was so much more then these days and the kids these days are being cheated out of all the fun things that being a kid makes growing up worth while. It's sad really kids these days raise their self with TV and games computer and smart phones. I wish it was more like when I was a kid
