Creamy, smooth, rich. Oh my gosh. Best cheesecake of my life. I wish I could try every single slice. My boyfriend and I had key lime and dark chocolate raspberry, and we fell in love with this place at first bite Also the workers were very kind!

I am now a cheesecake fan because of this place. I tried two flavors, one mini and one slice and both were very tasty! Creamy and rich with great flavor! Will definitely be back to try more!

Is supposed to be the best place for cheesecake. But it wasn't for me. I ordered 3 different slices. And only one was halfway decent. One was dry. One was gummy, none were creamy and smooth and delicious. Very disappointed.

Hanks cheesecake was a fun one. We got a slice of blueberry, original, snickers, and caramel amaretto. The blueberry was kind of meh, (not very much cream cheese flavor) the original was much denser and flavorful (kind of like the difference between regular and New York style cheesecake). The snickers and amaretto were rich, dense, and true to their name. Nothing was overly sweet which is always my worry with cheesecake. Well done!

This place is so cute and I love the little diner atmosphere. The cheesecake is phenomenal, and the girl helping us out was very nice! I had the white chocolate raspberry and almond cappuccino cakes and loved them both- but the raspberry was especially good. Would definitely come back here for desserts.

Had a slice of Hank's caramel amaretto for my birthday. Of course, the phone did not eat first. But, the cheesecake was decadent. Much lighter than a lot of other cheesecakes out there which, in my opinion, was a welcome surprise. The saltiness of the caramel paired perfectly with the creaminess of the cheesecake. The amaretto adds a wonderful flavor that I cannot quite articulate. Delicious, nonetheless. The chocolatey crumb crust was also wonderful, I only wish it had a bit thicker layer to help its flavor shine through a bit more. Additionally, the single slice is a bit small, but that is okay. All in all, a fantastic cheesecake, I hope to go back soon and try some additional flavors!

Wow! Always, and consistently WOW! We randomly pick up a variety of slices at random times. Hanks is inventive, fresh and original. I've not had better cheesecake anywhere else. The staff is welcoming, polite, and offers assistance. They're also patient as my kids make a selection at the glass cabinet. The atmosphere hasn't changed, which gives a nice nostalgic vibe.Parking: Hanks has a small lot, but it's an in-and-out business with quick service. There is street parking too. The area is easy to navigate.Kid-friendliness: Bright, patent service with a great glass display cabinet. It's a fun experience for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: The interior is small, but has easy chair access & a nice entrance.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today and everything we tried was phenomenal! We did a pickup order that was ready within 20 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and we will definitely be going back in the future. Best dessert I've had in St Louis!

The BEST cheesecakes in St Louis, guaranteed. Get the assortment box, it's an easy decision. I hear the carrot cake is awesome too.

I don't usually have cheesecake unless it's from a specific place in NYC, but my friend convinced me to give this place a shot and I have no regrets! My favorite part is the diverse selections of cheesecakes and I wanted to just sample a bit of each one. My favorite was the chocolate covered strawberry followed by the strawberry shortcake (this one has some sponge cake in it so not completely a cheesecake). I wonder if they change their selection, I guess I have to come back to check

The tiramisu cheesecake is different from the website description but still slightly reminiscent of Tiramisu. It has a chocolate cookie base under a layer of rum cheesecake with a layer of vanilla cake on top and a top layer of a white cheesecake dusted in cocoa powder. I couldn't tell what flavor the top layer of white cheesecake was but it's texture was better than the rum cheesecake that was over cooked. I would return to try a different flavor but not this one. I didn't love the cake substitution for traditional espresso soaked ladyfingers.

It was absolutely amazing, I've been looking for pumpkin swirl cheesecake for the past two years and when I came here to have some it was the best I've ever had! My mom used to have their cakes when she was 20 years old and even said that her memory didn't do it justice and she was right. Will definitely be coming back again!
