It's a nice cafe, friendly staff. You won't be disturbed. You can come in read their books or laptop and have something to eat or drink. Also they have poetry readings on certain nights. You won't be bothered by staff to constantly ask if you want to order something to eat or drink, just a nice place to hang out.

If I could give a 0 I would. I've frequented this shop on multiple occasions and have had great experiences with kind prompt service. Today that was not the case. The barista who took my order was kind but the interaction I had with the owner was upsetting to say the least. I paid for my order, received a notification from my bank of the transaction ($13.07) going through, when the ipad was turned around for me to add tip/ signature there was a notification on their POS system of a canceled transaction. The barista I was working with had already stepped away so I requested assistance from another Barista (Kevin, who turns out to be the owner). The interaction started off very negatively, he walked over to the counter visibly annoyed. Kevin mentioned that they have problems with their POS system sometimes, I showed the transaction on my bank from "Blueprint" and asked if this was the name of the shop because I only knew it as HighLow. Kevin then begrudgingly says "I guess I have to comp your order, guess you're getting a free order. We're going to have to eat it" and continues to berate and belittle me through the entire interaction like I was purposely trying to trick him out of goods. At that point I still had the payment on my bank transactions, I wasn't going to take his word for it and pay again with the hope I wasn't charged twice. Especially with his behavior and attitude toward me. In the 5 minute interaction we had he mentioned me getting a free order and him having to comp my order over 10 times. "What's your order again? Since I had to comp it... Check your bank tomorrow, you didn't pay for the order it'll be back to you($13.07) by tomorrow" and on and on. He kept talking at me even after I completely disengaged. By the time the order was ready I was taking a phone call, he slides my order across the counter and says "Here's your free order" at this point I asked him "Can you stop?" grab the order and leave. When I called to make a complaint I found out Kevin was the owner. I mentioned I didn't appreciate how rude he was and the way he spoke to me in such a belittling way. He stated, "You just got a free order you could've just said thank you. Check your bank tomorrow, you just got a free order". I'm not going to engage and thank someone who is actively being negative and rude to me from the moment our interaction began. Especially over issues they're having with their system, I'm grabbing my order and leaving. My suggestions; get your POS system figured out, in the meantime don't take out your frustration on your patrons, don't offer "free" goods if you're going to be rude and vindictive.

A great environment, beautiful space and area. Their snacks are delish but I'll admit my go-to drink (caramel cold brew with almond milk) never really tastes right here. Truly everything else about the place is ideal, though!

Excellent coffee. Tons of seating. Good WiFi. 2 bathrooms. Tons of sunlight. Really good coffee shop.

This coffee shop is such a cool little place to grab a great coffee or tea with an excellent selection of bites. It's lively but not loud so the perfect place to meet up with some friends and hang out or simply get some work done! A real gem just around the corner from Grand Center.

Recently enjoyed High Low for a work and coffee outing with Alex. We like to meet at local coffee houses and spend a couple of hours working side by side. The Latte Machiato was super delish. Beautiful steamed milk on top! Great progressive library surrounds comfortable seating. Lots of outlets for east laptop charging. We will be back for sure.

Have yet to find a calmer place to cuddle up with a warm matcha, a chai soda, and my laptop. High Low is a cute literary arts cafe for those of us who value aesthetics. I'm very particular about workspaces: natural light, nearby refreshments, and ample outlet access are musts; High Low has them all. My favorite design touches are the bookshelf wall, the mini sofa/lounge space, and the coffee shop playlist. Modern and clean, High Low is easily the most relaxed environment I've stumbled across to get some work done.

Blueprint is one of my favorite coffee spots in St. Louis and I was excited to try this new location. Located in midtown near SLU, it feels more like a cozy library rather than a coffee spot. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed! We struggled to find a spot to sit and enjoy our coffee and pastries. The coffee was on par with Blueprint's high standards. I also enjoyed a buttermilk biscuit with apple butter that was quite tasty. I love the vibe of this location and will definitely come pack to enjoy again.

Wow! Amazing! I stumbled upon this cool and cozy spot while waiting for a show at the Fab Fox. The walls are lined with books to read. The music is light and contemporary. The vibe is so chill. A++ Great pumpkin bread and coffee too! Xoxo ?

I guess I can consider myself as a High Low regular now, given my visits almost every weekend. It's perched perfectly at the intersection, and has beautiful sunlight streaming in, with just the right variety of beverage options, enough to have you try new things each week, but not too many to overwhelm someone. Their freshly baked breads are also equally good complements to their brews.

The atmosphere of this place is great. A good place to meet with friends or study. Super light and filled with books, lovely servers, lgbtq friendly. Not many food options and the oats were way too sweet but the coffee was great.

Located on Washington along with many other great restaurants in the Midtown area, High Low is such a cool coffee shop for you to check out. I love that it's a work/study coffee shop so you can come to enjoy by yourself or with other friends. There is plenty natural sunlight for you in the store. Their drinks and pastries seem very good with reasonable price. I tried the seasonal fruit shrubs and it was really refreshing. They also have an interesting menu for coffee. If you enter inside of the shop, there's also a mini art gallery, which I thought was cool. I highly recommend you checking out this coffee shop if you are ever in this area.

Blueprint is one of my favorite coffee shops in St Louis. So sad it took me so long to get to their third location! The space is beautiful and bright. The service is fantastic. Of course, the coffee is its usual Blueprint amazingness as well.
