I love Indian food. And wow is this place incredible. The lamb vindaloo stood out in particular. Perfectly spiced all around.Food was fresh and hot and we didn't have to wait long even though they were very busy. Also got to try their honey Chai and it was a perfect sweet side. We will definitely be back.

Review Update: Spring 2024Food quality is better, though still not as spicy. Alu Gobi was flavorful, I enjoyed it a lot! (Vegi Thali is no longer available for lunch, only dinner). Mango lassi was much smaller than before, but I guess thats the sign of the times. Good service, as always. They are consistent and improving. Thanks House of India for a good experience!p.s. No more BUFFET!---------Spring 2023The place looks and feels the same (last time I came was 2018) but the food quality has changed dramatically. Almost all food is catered to the American palate: the samosa breading is more like bread than crispy crust, kheer is sweeter and with less rice, the rest of the dishes on the vege thali seemed very bland. Papadum was delicious, raita was good, but those are not what I come to Indian restaurant for. Service is still great, timely and polite.

We called at 7:35 pm and asked if can come to the restaurant or we need reservation. The person who answered to our call told us as we can come without reservation. When we arrive at the restaurant at 8:10 pm,, a very rude unprofessional person with bad attitude on us told us as we can not have a seat but order take-way only. I will never comeback to this restaurant not to see this ……. Person.

Excellent food, excellent service got food here on the way back from visiting historic sites. Price was very reasonable and I have been thinking about it since we got home. Will have to come back here.

The food wasn't mind-blowing, but it was good! Main dishes were good. Naan bread & bread-type appetizers were great! Chai tea was underwhelming. Overall: I wouldn't go out of my way to go back there, but if I was in the area, heck yeah I would!Vegetarian options: Indian cuisine always has a wide selection of vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Vegetarian, gluten-free, food allergy friendlyParking: Parking lot

I enjoy eating Indian food. When I do, we almost always get the Chicken Tikka Masala. Which is what we did this time.First time eating here. We ordered takeout. It was good. I also ordered a chai. I had to add some sugar, but I like it sweet. One thing of note regarding the chai, they microwaved it. Not sure if this is normal, but I am pretty sure most of them are made fresh on the stove.I would definitely go back here. I would also like to dine in to see how that experience is. The interior seemed nice.

Fantastic classic Indian. The mango chutney and naan are phenomenal. The vindaloo and Tikka massala are equally delicious. Consistent, casual and relaxed, it's been good for over twenty years.
