The servants are very rude. There were only 2 group of customers. We waited for one hour and they said they forgot our order.

Surprised with the freshness of the sashimi. I got the chirashi don with many different types of fish and none of them tasted fishy. The slices were a little on the thick side but that’s just being picky.

We love supporting small local business. I realized I haven't written about Ichiban- my favorite sushi restaurant in St. Louis. We have been customers here for about 5 years or so. We came here at least once a week. We usually ordered to go during the weekdays and dined in on the weekends. The owners treat and talk to us like family. Our go to orders are hamachi sashimi, spicy crazy roll, hamachi Kama (yellowtail collar), spider rolls and eel avocado rolls. Last night, I was in a mood for grilled fish so I ordered saba shioyaki combo. It came with ginger house salad, and miso soup. I absolutely loved the ginger dressing here - the owner made it herself. The restaurant is quite spacious, and clean. Highly recommend.

Amazing food! Not many other customers which is a shame given how great the food was. The Crab Rangoon was to die for and the sushi was delicious.

Great restaurant run by a family. Extremely generous proportions. They don't try to load their sushi with rice. Very nice atmosphere.

This is a place I go to for Sushi. I went here on valentine day to get their rolls to go. The rolls are pretty decent. I like the fact their rice ratio to the seafood ratio is not overwhelming. I did ordered two spicy crazy rolls, salmon roll, spicy tube and regular tuna rolls. I like the crazy and salmon roll the most. I am the person that love salmon more than tuna . It was a busy day at this place when I went to pick up my food. The food was good.

I have been here multiple times on my lunch break and my colleagues and I are usually the only ones dining at the time, so service is always fast and pleasant. The sushi rolls are MASSIVE and always delicious. This has become one of my favorite sushi spots in the

It's a nicely sized restaurant that is quiet, clean and give some more personal feel to the dining experience for their menu. The food is always good. The surface is always fast, amazing and courteous and continuously checks upon you.And the sushi is some of the best in the area by far. Has been consistently amazing for at least a handful of years now. Will always go there and stop by when I drive through the area. As it is a must.Dietary restrictions: Almost anything on the menu is able to be modified or could dessert way to fit dietary restrictions. Definitely ask and more than likely you will get a customized order specifically for you because they are that adaptable and that experience.

Food is awesome. I had the (house) spicy tuna roll and salmon rolls. The problem was the service. It was slow. Looked like they only had one or two people cooking. There were 9 of us having dinner and we had several plates come out very late. They were apologetic about it but don’t expect quick in and out bite to eat. I do highly recommend the sushi and sashimi.

They add extra tips plus want more tips. Gold-diggers. Over priced for sure.

What a bummer. A friend recommended this place and I haven't been in probably a decade so I figured why not. There was absolutely nobody there at 7:30 on a Saturday so that should have been my first warning. We ordered popcorn chicken and crab rangoon as apps. The crab rangoon was not flavorful at all and very chewy (and I am NOT picky) served with sweet and sour sauce that I think was actually ketchup, and the popcorn chicken was more like a general tso's style chicken and was absolutely microwaved -- we heard the beeps. Then the sushi came and it was fishy and the tempura on the crunchy rolls had a very stale breadcrumb flavor. I can eat a lot of sushi and I had to stop because I just wasn't confident that it wasn't going to make me sick. We have so many leftovers but will probably just pitch them, which is such a waste. They did not check to ask us how the food was and didn't bring drinks for quite awhile, considering there was nobody there. I hate to leave a bad review because I know times are tough but we brought a friend here who was in from out of town and were a bit embarrassed (and out $200) by the whole experience. Hopefully it was just a fluke but there are lots of options for great sushi in the area so I would not recommend this one at all.

Becoming very overpriced but overall good solid traditional Japanese dishes. Salmon bento box was good.
