Definitely overpriced for the amount of food you got. Hope you love sauce, because without it, the food is not good.I eat hibachi twice a week, around the country, and this, by far, has to be the worst. Very unfortunate.

It must be popular in the local area. However, as a Japanese person like me, the restaurant's cuisine is not Japanese cuisine. It's fake.Since they say they serve Japanese food, I'll give them marks as a Japanese person. This store is a failure.

I have been to this location several times for dinner and lunch and have always had a pretty decent experience. It was not spectacular, but it was not the worst until today. I went today for lunch. I sat at the bar with a friend, and there was another party of 5 for a birthday party sitting at one of the tables in the bar area. We were the only seven people in the restaurant. My friend and I placed our order and ordered happy-hour cocktails with/ the bartender. She was pleasant enough, but it was clear that she was out of place, and we quickly learned that the server had called off and she was filling in at the last minute. When the food arrived, she began placing it in front of us and dropped half of it on the floor—no big deal. The tray gave way, and I could tell she was flustered. She quickly replaced the order, and we went on with the meal. She was sweet and apologetic and expressed to us that she was out of place but could make us some great drinks. When it was time for the tab, I asked if we could order a few items to go. She agreed, and I placed my to-go order. My issue began here; she placed the to-go order and left. After waiting over 40 minutes with only the 7 of us in the restaurant, I asked the manager about the order; she looked at me confused and asked what I was waiting for. When I expressed that we placed a to-go order with the bartender, she never gave us a receipt; she only collected the credit card receipt with the signature and tip. She immediately hopped on the defense like I was making up that I had waited nearly an hour for food they hadn't even begun cooking. Because I paid with a credit card and she could not pull off the transaction, I had to show her my credit card transactions so she could see we had indeed paid for the food. She was very short and seemed to be annoyed with the fact that I had placed the order and was now requesting it. After waiting 20 minutes for the food to be cooked, she brought it out and put it on the table. No apology, no accommodations; she didn't offer a cup of water so much while we waited. The lack of accountability didn't sit well with me, especially after spending over $150 for lunch between us. I was unsatisfied with the service and will probably not return it.

It is nice to try food from different cultures and restaurants, but I didn't like the food. A salad came with my order and the salad was lettuce and dressing only. The presentation of preparing the food in front of you was good.

Standard for Japanese steakhouses. Nothing stellar; however, a very good business model in the states. Run effectively by staff in organizing chaos. A bit excessive on the sodium content for me, only. Enjoyable experience.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available. Make sure you tell server/cook. They are very good at inquiring about food allergies. SPEAK UP ANS BE HEARD, if you have any.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options are available. Make sure you tell server/cook. They are very good at inquiring about food allergies. SPEAK UP ANS BE HEARD, if you have any.Kid-friendliness: Great “dinner and a show” for kids. Hibachi cooks are trained to keep their audience engaged.Wheelchair accessibility: Availability exists. Kobe is located at the Second level of Mall and there is an elevator.

This location is on the 2nd floor. There are multiple elevators to use. The place was spacious, clean and very nice. Our surver was nice and entertaining. They serve the usual soup and salad prior to your meal. The soup was a great lead up to the meal. I ordered steak and chicken habachi with fried rice. The fried rice has peas and carrots. Vegetables were Zucchini, onion, broccoli and mushrooms. You also get noodles. My food was good. I usually add a little Sriracha sauce to my yum yum sauce but they didn't have any. They did have a green spicy sauce but I stuck with my yum yum. Great place to try.
