Creepy but entertaining and educational as well

Honestly, it wasn’t all that scary. I was expecting the building to be really cool because of the history. The idea of putting a haunted house there is excellent, but I felt like it was just a bunch of flashing lights the whole time. Wandering around in fogged up rooms. I took my mom and one of my girlfriends from OKC, we just didn’t think it was all that it was cracked up to be.

Very cool decor, usage of lights was awesome, unfortunately I’m easy to scare, but I honestly got scared once throughout the entire house. Need more actors, missed potential for sure

Always have a great experience at The Lemp. From descending the staircase to the haunted house to the props and set, this place is fun! I grabbed a fast pass this year and arrived at opening and was one of the first through with no bottleneck. Definitely recommend the fast pass and timing!Wish they had more actors this year, but the guys tonight used the space and sparse amount of actors to their advantage. Got us good a few times! Can't wait for next year.

We were very disappointed at this year's experience. We were very excited that the Lemp Brewery had opened this year so we gladly paid $69 for 2 tickets. Our entrance time was 8:30 so we arrived at 8:25. We were still waiting in line at 9:30 so we went and bought fast passes for $15/each. That bought us another 15 minute wait to enter the building only to find there was another line to stand in, all the while, people were being escorted to the front because they bought VIP passes. When we got in, we started running into the people ahead of us because everyone was jammed in at once, since the attraction closed at 11. There were not many actors inside either. I'm sorry we wasted the time and money on it. It used to be the best haunted house in STL but we wont be going back.

Good. 30 bucks seemed pretty short though didn't seem like it was longer than 10 min give or take and 30 bucks.

Not scary at all but I appreciate and respect the effort they put into putting it together.

So my husband and my 2 teenage daughters went to work for this place… what a joke that was.. they paid my husband and ONE of my daughters 60 bucks for 2 days and refused to pay my other daughter a penny… I’m pretty sure there’s child labor laws and they will be hearing from my lawyers and the news if they don’t settle this … horrible people to work for, they put you in masks you can’t breathe in and then kick you out if you have a panic attack.. they claimed it was asthma.. but they’re not doctors!!

Ridiculously stupid scary! First time at a haunted house in my 46 years of life. Never again; made me freak OUT!!! Good job guys.

Had potential to be good. They release each party about every 20 to 30 seconds. So when we were let into the basement to start it was great. That lasted about 2 minutes though. As we caught up to the 2 groups that were let in ahead of us. The other groups were moving at a snails pace and no matter how slow we went we were bound to catch up to other people. For us having other people around drastically takes away from the experience. So the first couple minutes were great. Good decorations and staff. But, watching people right in front of you get the jump scares you are there to experience, just kills it all. Eventually people behind us caught up to us because people ahead of us were so slow. Im sure that is hard to control other than spacing people out more. So the last 25 minutes were boring unfortunately. By the end there was about 30 people all leaving the basement at once. Must be hard to be a person working there trying to scare people when there is a huge train of people that all see you jump out of that corner. Could be good. Suggestions to space people out more.

I can’t believe I’m writing a review about a haunted house but here I am lol. Everything about it was soooo good! No line on a Friday evening, the actors were amazing as was the staff and the decorations were top tier! So scary but in the best way possible. Definitely worth the $$$ we had the best time!!

Very disappointed! Way, way to much fog! Either they are trying to hide a bad display or they haven't gone thru their own haunted house. You cant see any of the displays per the fog. I understand having it to hide the live displays however there is ap point when its just too much!

Honestly very disappointed. I am a long time participant in Creepyworld & the Darkness; while they may not be outright terrifying, it is still a fun experience with the various actors and animatronics. This year was the first year I decided to give Lemp a go, specifically because it is advertised on their website as the scariest location out of the three. I was SO hyped to actually be scared. I could not have been more disappointed. The queue line went quickly, and they make a point to space guests out by 40 seconds as you enter, but very quickly the line got backed up (I don't want to hear anything about Oh! You should have gone on a weekday! because they have limited days if any during the week) and it only took about 3 minutes to run into the people in front of us. From then on out, it was a creepy maze of fog and colored lights, but i'm not even kidding, we maybe saw FIVE ACTORS THE ENTITE TIME. And two of them were just standing in a corner watching the line go by. I was beyond underwhelmed. It was cool, yes, but if you're looking for a scary haunted house with a decent amount of actors this is not the place for you. I could have taken a 5 year old through and they would have been fine. The scare/actors were just not there at all. I hope they find more people for next year but the price is definitely not worth the "haunt".
