The reason for that three star is due to the different flavors of what was Avery clear Northern Italian cuisine as well as the food coming out a bit cold. The service was absolutely amazing, it was just understanding that the flavors are mush more different than what we expected for Italian food. I do want to try this again, but go in with different expectations for the food and flavors. I really enjoyed the bread and the Caesar salad but my family wasn't a huge fan of the salad.

By far the best Italian restaurant in St. Louis!!! The food is outstanding (we usually get the goat cheese ravioli appetizer and chicken spedini). Typically they split the dinner salad onto two plates which we greatly appreciate!

We have eaten on The Hill for 50 years and have never gone to Lorenzo's Trattoria. It was fabulous and we were very impressed. Antonio was a wonderful steward and we enjoyed his help. It was my son's birthday and the birthday treat of cake and gelato was yummy. We can't wait to return.

Lorenzo's has been a fixture on The Hill for almost 25 years. The quality of the food, the service and the overall dining experience is fantastic, just like it's been for all those years.
As always a perfect night the food there is perfection. The quality is the same every time I go it's wonderful. I've been many times over the last 15 years and I would recommend it to anyone. It's probably one of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis Missouri.
The value of the dinner was amazing. The prices were so reasonable while still making you feel like you're at a fancy restaurant. Food came out quick which was great to keep the meal moving. Get the Calamari and make sure you grab some gelato
I took my wife, son (25) and daughter (21) to a nice dinner before an evening event. We had a couple bottles of wine, bruschetta for an appetizer, salads, and dinners that included the special. The ambience was nice, the friendliness and service from the staff top-notch, and some of the food was excellent. I loved the bruschetta, but my wife less so. Their house salad left something to be desired (the pistachios were a weird addition...). Many salads on the Hill are better. My son's barramunda (with polenta and spinach) was excellent and the mussels/linguini special was terrific. My daughter liked her fettuccini alfredo and the missus thought her chicken risotto was... okay. Some of the food was delightful enough that, when combined with the service, we'd go back. But enough missed the mark that I wouldn't give it five stars. Good, not great.

So the hubby and I have both picked up UBEREATS deliveries from here, so for my bday he (along with my close friends) surprised me!! Can I just say this was an experience that anyone who can afford it should have-not only because the food was magnificent, but the staff was truly amazing! I'm big on customer service and even tho our full party hadn't arrived, we were lead to our reserved room and immediately introduced to Jen(we found out later she's also the manager and we see why???). The way she gave us a very detailed synopsis of the Off Menu items, we were ready to order drinks(there is no drink menu for this, but they offer all the regular cocktails-i for a whiskey mule and it was strong and delicious ?)cuz the actual menu included alot of stuff I wanted to try! 30mins later, we finally ordered not bc of them but because we were comfortable lol. I went with the fresh seafood pasta sub the angel hair pasta ? and hubby veal(it was new for him and he wasn't too fond of the bone marrow ????♀️) also had the mussels which were smaller than I expected, but still flavorful! All of my guests truly enjoyed the food and hospitality-we will surely be back again.

If you are in the mood for quality food and awesome service, this is the place to go. Tasty appetizers served hot and freshly made. Absolutely one of the best house salads. Crisp cold lettuce with great house dressing. Main entrées included osso bucco that melted in your mouth. Angel hair pasta with sauce you couldn't get enough of. Trust your instincts and stop by for a great meal.

It’s make me so sad to have to leave this review because I absolutely love coming here but they ruined my night. A night that was supposed to be romantic and nice turned into frustration and a hunger so bad I had acid reflux. I called to be put on “the list” and was told 30mins. That wasn’t the case I have been to a billion restaurants and when they say 30min wait it’s 30min wait or maybe 5 mins over. We sat there waiting and waiting for no reason because it went way passed 35mins and their reply was that they did not know how long it would take and that we could sit at the bar. We decided to leave because our night was ruined and we weren’t going to have a romantic date eating Italian food at the bar packed with people all around.
