We go before most shows that we attend, but after several great experiences, I think we will make this our usual pre-show dining spot. I have no idea what they do to their spinach and mushrooms, but they are AMAZING!

Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience at Lucha… this week my partner and I decided to try something new and stop in before our Mamma Mia show at the Fox that evening. Upon walking in we were greeted fairly quickly and directed to our table. After about 10 minutes or so our server took our orders. We waited about 30 minutes for two tacos and chips & salsa (which you do pay for, not a problem but just to preface that before someone thinks I’m complaining about something free) — the expo drops our food and tells me “we’re out of birria so I gave you steak instead” mind you the Norris is lamb and they gave me a whole different meat without even asking and I don’t eat steak so he got another taco lol. Then we were told the chips aren’t done yet but I’ll be back with them shortly… after about 20 more minutes we got our bill and left, still no chips as they never even came out. And we needed to head over to the theatre to get in line for our show. I will say through all of this that the server was very nice and also seemed annoyed that the kitchen hadn’t communicated to him… as he should! So it definitely was not his fault. I wouldn’t mind giving this place another shot, maybe it was an off night. Hopefully this review helps with communication and maybe put a cap on how many people can come in to eat at once until some tweaks get figured out!

Went there before a show at Fox. They were not busy when we came in. Took forever for someone to acknowledge us and take orders. Once ordered we didn’t get our drinks we had ordered at the beginning. And the food took probably about 45 minutes, and once we got it, it was awful. Some of the most bland no flavor food I’ve had in a very long time. I got the burrito and it seriously tasted like a Taco Bell burrito, but Taco Bell’s would have more flavor. The only thing that actually had a taste was the 10 dollar chips and cheese. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I don’t typically leave any kind of reviews for any place, but it was so bad for a 60 dollar meal I made sure I left a review.

Not impressed at all. Two servers in the entire place and it made it not enjoyable what-so-ever. We really wanted a spicy Bloody Mary and they were unable to accommodate. Guacamole was good. Margaritas were different. Very limited menu. Wouldn't recommend it.

We had reservations for 6 PM on a Thursday night and arrived a little early. We were seated right away. They only had a few servers for the whole restaurant, and all of them were frantically running around the restaurant trying to care for everyone. While I appreciate their hard work and hustle, it didn't seem like a very efficient setup. I would consider coming back on a non-Fox Theatre performance night. I'm assuming this is what impacted our lack of attentive service. Our server, who also took on the role of manager and host, only came to our table two or three times to take our order and deliver our check. I understand that he was busy with all of the other tables, but we couldn't even flag him down for a water refill. We also ordered two piña coladas but never received them. When we were almost finished eating our food and realized the drinks probably weren't coming, we had to ask our server to take them off the bill. If the tacos hadn't been as yummy as they were, I don't think my overall experience here would have been worth it. I was very impressed by the flavor in each taco. I ordered the Mexico City Tacos Plate, which is your choice of three tacos and two sides for $20.50. It seemed a little pricey at first, but the meat seemed to be pretty high quality. I chose two ground beef tacos and one chicken tinga. I was blown away by the deliciousness both, especially the ground beef. They bring out three sauce options with your food, but the tacos were already so flavorful on their own that I didn't even need to use the sauce! I ordered white rice and steamed vegetables for my sides, and both were pretty good.

Absolutely horrible service, especially on show nights at the Fox. Food service is extremely slow, and orders frequently misunderstood and the wrong items are brought out.If you are seeing a show at the Fox, get here at least 2 hours early.

The restaurant is clean and bright and service is excellent, and fast. The Shrimp were great and the lamb meat Taco was wonderful. The steak Taco meat was bit less tender than I would prefer. Chips and Guac were very good with a generous serving provided. The water was great.

Went there after the fox. Sat at the bar and no one even acknowledged us. The workers just stood there. We waited while people came in after us got water and utensils still nothing. We left. Won’t go back. Complete waste of time.

Cute place, guac wasnt bad but the steak tacos were terribly chewy and the shrimp tacos were worse. The waitress was trying to keep up.

Slow, slow service, and major communication barriers. I ordered the quesadilla with steamed veggies and black beans. I got steamed rice instead of the veggies. My mom ordered one beef, one chicken, and one fish taco. She got steak and beef Tacos that were soggy and lacking in cheese. Our food finally landed after 7 pm when we had placed our order around 6:30 pm.Our waitress was slow in attending to her tables. We were unable to sit and finish our food, since we had to get across the street to the Fox for our show.

We stopped by here after a show at the Fox Theater and should have been suspecting something wrong when it was pretty empty. The food was average at best and you get charged for everything. Chip and Salsa are not complimentary and not very good, sodas are $4.50 each and were from a can. Ended up over $150 for 4 kid's meals and 2 adults with no alcohol. Our usual places we could have had 2 pitchers of top shelf margaritas and our meal for this amount or less. Menu is only available by scanning a QR code and service is a little slow. Definitely won't return based on our experience
