The first time I went here must have been 10 years ago.I came with my friends and saw godzilla on the wall; that's been painted over with a different mural, but it was so cool. The Chef came out and introduced himself, I think he said he was the owner. Really a cool guy and I can tell there's passion and skill put into the food. Someone loves this place, and that's why it's amazing. The ramen eggs- perfect every time.Pork belly- melts in your mouth. All the Sake in house is delightful. The noodles are tender.I'm not even overselling it, I regularly drive the nearly 3 hours to st louis for this, twice a year. It's almost that time and my mouth is watering about it.The parking lot isn't in the best shape and it's easy to miss the turn if you're going too fast. The directions to get there from the IL Bridge are really straight forward, though.Parking: Free parking lot but easy to miss the turn into it.

We arrived on a Tuesday morning around 11:45 AM. Parking in the area can be right but there is a small lot next door! We were greeted by the waitstaff upon walking in to grab any table we wanted so we chose the remaining booth. The interior is nice and open, and is well-lit. Our order consisted of two sushi rolls, some ramen and curry. The Goku roll was fantastic, had great depth of flavor. Unfortunately the Philadelphia Roll had a very strong "fishy" taste, so we couldn't finish it. The ramen had nice flavor and was served hot. The curry was so tasty, what an underrated dish! Highly recommend. We'll be back to see if the sushi was an outlier or if their base sushi has any issues. Overall good experience though.

Twice we’ve been here an had an amazing server (E). Two servers on the floor with a full dining room. She kicked butt. I personally look at great service before the food. If you have great service most the time the food is just as good. The food has been off the charts both times. Cant wait to be back. Will miss it when I

I have to honestly say that I will not ever go to this restaurant again. It was dirty, even the silverware, it was cold, and the Ramen wasn’t so great. I will also say that the young lady that helped us yesterday, December 17 of 2023 about noon, disclosed that she was left by herself, and then two of her coworkers called off. I completely understand that and I understand that sometimes there is a rush. What I don’t understand is you rushing to the point where you push me out of the way and almost make me fall, so you can get to your destination. That pissed me off simply because her excuse me after she pushed me out of the way, was not genuine, and I did not appreciate being pushed anyway. I am disabled, and she almost knocked me over.Let me not forget to mention how my friend ordered the Nagasaki Ramen and he was sick all afternoon before he eventually threw up. That was the only thing he had eaten that day.

We went here for lunch and it was really great. We were looking for something that was filling and had different options. The staff was very nice and pleasant. I think the only thing that could have been better was that they could have made a ramen much more spicy. Other than that they had great options to choose from in terms of ramen as well as sushi. Would definitely recommend for a Friday afternoon lunch.
