The best Italian cookies are found here. Make sure you bring cash, cards won't work here.

Cute bakery on "the Hill" that has variety of Italian cookies and cannolis. I regret not trying the ricotta cannoli but it came with high recommendation. Will definitely try next time.

Just came across this place while strolling around & saw lots of people going in & out of this place. Didn’t read any suggestions/review so didn’t know what to pick. Assorted cookies - a bit dry. Snow balls & another cake (forget the name) - tastes ok, average. Service was fast & they have a lot of people behind counter. No price listed, cash/checks only.

St. Louis staple! Best pastries and bread around. Adore their danishes (cheese, cherry, and chocolate are my fav!), and chocolate drops! They also take special orders which is awesome.Update: 2024 and still as efficient and delicious as ever even 100 Years in the business! Always fresh & fast service. Don't get turned off by the long lines inside, I PROMISE it's really a short waiting time similar to how Ted Drewes works.

This is the best bakery in STL. I have no idea how I'm a local and I slept on it forever but I wanted a fantastic local cheesecake for my fiance's birthday. So, checked for best desserts in STL. This place tops out every list on Google, and does it for a reason. The Amaretto cheesecake was immaculate, and if I wasn't being very careful I would have ended up buying half the store. The prices are better than they have any right to be and the staff is lovely. If you want dessert, a treat, a snack, whatever, just go here. It's worth it. A local family owned treasure.

There is not anything mediocre or meh about this place! No matter what I have tried it is always fantastic. Even the most simplistic option is stellar. Service is always a very warm, inviting and helpful. A charming true old school bakery. Small but large enough! I can't wait to return!

Delicious cookies and pastries! If you are visiting St. Louis or live here and never visited this store, you must! I would take one of everything if I could. Their cucidati (FIG COOKIES) are the best!

Nice short walk across street after lunch at Zia's. Wife wanted Tiramisu. She got two plus a Napolean. I had the chocolate topped custard filled puff pastry. Everything was outstanding. Nice selection of other treats. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I have been here twice now. It has been delicious both times. Here is a list of things we got; cheese danish, pinapple upside down cake, marshmallow creme roll, amaretto cheesecake, saturday special custard creme puff, chocolate marshmallow mound, and assorted cookies. If you want top-notch baked goods, this is where you need to go!Parking: It is street parking on The Hill, so on busy days it will probably be a little difficult to find parking.
