Not good! This was my first time and we got a vanilla malt and chocolate concentrate and dipped cone and I’m not sure what the malt flavor they’re using but it was inedible. The ice cream itself is also not good at all. The concrete is also bad! I’m shocked that this place is still open!

Decided to go here for the first time in many years because my partner lives nearby. Remember it not making a strong impression when I was younger, especially with other options that I always gravitated towards close by. Since the day was nice, we ended up walking to it after seeing a picture online of a menu and thought that the prices were significantly more affordable over other options in the area. Unfortunately, it was apparently a very outdated picture, because prices were as much if not higher than say Andy's or even Ted Drewes when including the .50 surcharge for using a card. The custard is below average at best, and was quite melted at the bottom even on a relatively cool day. Paid extra for a second topping and it didn't seem very balanced or worth the extra price for it. It it was half the price, it would be fine for a cheap treat in comparison to their competitors. But with a loud location and subpar ice cream, it puzzles me how it has stayed affloat after all these years.

Best custard in STL in my opinion. Underrated if you ask me and I'm comparing it to Andy's and ted Drew's. Customer service has always been good the times I've gone. It's a shame they are closed till

Choose Andy’s!! Andy’s is my go to, but wanted to shop local and give MW another shot. Not open when google says otherwise. If this wasn’t an ongoing problem, like others have suggested, I wouldn’t have bothered writing.

Call me a heretic, but I prefer this place to Ted Drewes. The product, the location and the decor. I've never had bad service here, but I don't expect to be treated like royalty wherever I go. It's a small business with one location. If they're open, regardless of whether they're 'supposed to be' or not, yay. If not, oh well. Maybe next time. If you've always got to have it your way, go to Burger King (or Ted Drewes). If you can deal with the fact that life isn't always fair, give this place a shot. If they take your order, prepare to be delighted. The menu is not as big or fancy as some of the competition, but I think I've eaten my way through it. I can't say that anything ever disappointed me. If you're looking for a treat without totally destroying your calorie budget, they do have frozen yogurt. If you're going to blow the budget, blow it with 'The Wizard'. Or a Banana Split. Beware, they're just about done for the season. Usually they close right around now and reopen in February. Maybe I got lucky with this warm weather we've been having. It's about to turn cold again, so they may call it done for the year. Don't say you weren't warned. If you don't make it in time, I'll see you there in 2024.

Sadly came here with my kiddos today Sunday, October 15 and it was 838pm….plenty of time before 9pm closing. I sat at the window while the staff handed another customer their order but completely ignored me. It would’ve been nice to just acknowledge me and say sorry we are closing early. 9pm closing time. ??‍♀️

Flavor and texture not as good as Fritz's or Silky's. More of a melty ice cream taste vs custard.

A Saint Louis staple! This place is always the best. Excellent service, frozen custard that hits the spot every time and the outdoor format is timeless. Love everything about this place, a nostalgic gem. If you haven't been, or are from out of town, I highly reccommend trying it out!

Mediocre compared to Fritz's and Ted Drewes but sweet enough to hit the spot at times

Great local ice cream place, definitely competes with Ted Drew's!
