Large portions. Great coffee. You can see them cooking. Small place tucked any in strip mall. Very much a small Diner. Cash only. Service is great ran by husband and wife. Very personable. They love to get to know their customers. Even know your name. Only open certain hours. Not a 24 hour Diner although I wish it was.

My absolute favorite breakfast diner (although they serve lunch as well), the food is on point and delicious. The only restaurant in St. Louis that we have found that can actually lightly scramble eggs correctly! The servers are all sweet and kind and attentive. Service is fast. The place is clean and well lit. A place where regulars go and while everyone may not know your name, you're remembered!

We ate here for the first, but definitely not our last! This is a true diner in every sense of the word. The menu is full of food at its finest. The staff there hustle and do it with a smile on their face. Best of all the food is amazing it is very small inside and they only accept cash so be prepared to wait and don't bring your credit card
Traditional little diner. We arrived for lunch and the place was very busy. I couldn’t pass on ordering breakfast for lunch. I got 2 buttermilk pancakes and I added two scrambled eggs. Very efficient place. I noticed the flow and it’s impressive. Our food was delivered nice and hot. Everything tasted good.*** Cash only, no credit cards acceptedThe diner is in a large strip mall so there’s plenty of parking.

Here's where you can order the original Slinger!! Delicious! They also give you a free drink refill to go, and they usually ask you if you would like it, not the other way 'round...Cash only, but an ATM is inside the diner.

If you're looking for a small, independently owned diner with "greasy spoon" food then look no further. If you're old like me then you even will see some St. Louis history as this is the diner where Head East took their (back) cover photo for their first album. (Oh yeah, "There's Never Been Any Reason" was one of my favorite songs in high school.) The food is decent and decently priced but it is cash only, so be prepared. I've only ever had breakfast but it's all been good! It's located in a little strip mall on Olive Street Road so you have to make sure to use your GPS to find it.

Stopped in on a weekday for a quick breakfast. Homey clean bright atmosphere, quick attentive service. Had eggs, bacon, and sausage. All delicious, plentiful, hot, and quick. Hot coffee too. Plenty of parking. Will stop in again. Be aware they take cash or check only- no cards!
