Better black bean stir fry noodles than most places I’ve tried in Korea.Korean Chinese food is just about as Chinese food as Chinese American food is. So with a grain of salt. Also get the gun pung beef ?

This is a ghost restaurant inside of PokeDoke. You have to order by QR code via UberEats; took around twenty to twenty-five minutes for our two items. Both the jajjangmyun and tangsuyuk that we ordered were solid, but the quantity for the price isn't justified at all. The dishes come out in typical to-go containers, so you end up paying $20 for bulk boiled noodles and bulk made sauce in a tiny quantity.TLDR: Great food, but won't come again because of price + time it took to come out.

Had their infamous Jajangmyeong! Was good but had some unexpected seafood in it. (Not a seafood fan.) It's a ghost restaurant, it's a small restaurant inside of another restaurant.

On a busy Tuesday afternoon, I was craving some fast and authentic Korean-Chinese food. I haven't been able to find a place that fulfilled my cravings until now! I ordered one Jjamppong Seafood ($19) and one Sweet and Sour Pork ($16) to-go. Along with my dishes, fresh rice and a side of kimchi were packed. Even after the delivery time, the food was piping hot, fragrant, and fresh. The Jjamppong Seafood had fresh noodles that complimented well with its sweet, slightly spicy, and garlicky broth. For a flavorful seafood noodle soup, I found around three shrimps, a good amount of tender octopus, a couple chewy mussels (slightly over cooked possibly due to the very hot broth), and a variety of vegetables-zucchini, onions, and carrots. For my Sweet and Sour Pork, I was surprised at the small amount of fried, battered pork with it being $16. However, the pork dipped in the delightfully tangy and sweet sauce packed a lot of punch. If you're not a fan of tangy, almost-vinegary flavors, I would not recommend it to you. To explain my 4/5 stars rating, the kimchi was very salty and bland. I wasn't sure if this was a new batch of kimchi that had not been fermenting long enough or if they made it with a lot of salt to begin with. I had hoped to refresh my palate with a bite of kimchi but could not bring myself to overcome its overwhelmingly saltiness. Lastly, menu items are on the pricier side. Personally, I thought the Jjamppong Seafood was worth it, considering its well-sized portion. Overall, both my dishes did not disappoint! If you are new to trying Korean-Chinese food or even trying to find somewhere good, I would highly recommend this restaurant! I'll definitely be back in-person to explore more of the menu. P.S. Do you prefer soaking the pork/beef in the sweet and sour sauce or just dipping?! I prefer the latter to maintain the meat's crunch!

The hawaiian bbq was amazing! Not only was the portion large, but the bbq chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was the best macaroni salad we have ever had. Kk, Ashley , and Alex provided great customer service and kept the restaurant spotless! They even offered filtered water from a high tech machine ! We will definitely be back!

I'm so happy this place exists. We ordered from Uber eats and the spicy beef was perfect. The jjajangmyeon had homemade noodles and the sauce was legit. Had seafood and red meat in it which made me so happy. The taste was absolutely spot on.

This place is a great place to order from for Korean food that none of the other Korean restaurants have on their menu currently in St. Louis. My boyfriend ordered Ja jiang Mein, jjamppong seafood and sweet and sour beef. They made their noodle in house. The food taste really fresh and delicious especially the noodle. They also provide a small cup of Kim chi. The jiang mein taste exactly as how I had it at a Korean place in Chicago. I am so happy that they also have it here in St. Louis now. The jiamppong seafood soup taste good, they provided you noodle with it but can also be eaten with rice. They did load this soup with with the seafood which is amazing. This place is located in central west end. It shared the same place as poke doke. One thing that is inconvenient is that this place does not have a phone for you to call and order. This place you cannot sit and eat. You have to order through a delivery app, my boyfriend ordered through ubereat. You can order for delivery or for pick up. Parking in central west end can be a nightmare at busy time. This place also have limited hours from what I read Tuesday to Friday only and from 1130 to 7 pm. Hopefully if it become more popular their hours may be extended. Fingercrossed :)

Very delish Korean dishes! And they use a variety of seafood into their Jamboong noddles. Great place to eat! Bill the owner and his wife are such nice people.

Ordered on UberEats on a rainy day while I was down with a cold..... really saved my day :') The broth is flavorful, vegetables tasty, and I was surprised by the big chunks of seafood! I'm glad to have a place to get good korean food so close by. Thank you for your work!

I truthfully did not have high hopes for a new Korean restaurant in the CWE/FPSE. Every place I've been to has been disappointing. Yet Papa Shih's has filled my heart. I ordered the Kkanpunggi and tangsooyook for delivery, fully expecting worse quality due to it being delivered, and was blown away by how flavorful and rich each dish was.As a Korean person looking to share more quality Korean options with their partner, I'm blessed to have this new restaurant in my vicinity. I am so excited for the first time to eat Korean food in St. Louis. I have high hopes for the rest of the food on the menu, which I will definitely be coming back for. Easily a 5/5.
