The service was instant from the moment we came through the door! The servers had their own tables but helped each other out. We had 8 people at 2 tables and never felt crowded or on top of anyone else. Personally, I ordered the Chicken Maria and was blown away by how tasty it was. Highly recommend!!

This food seems like it is for a…. Let’s say mature crowd. Everything from the fries to the sandwiches were soft and tasteless. Maybe great if you have no teeth and or taste buds? ?The staff was friendly. The place was nice. A great place to take your grandparents. If you’re seeking flavor or texture maybe pass.

I had been waiting to try this place for a long time and unfortunately I was highly disappointed. We were greeted coming in by a friendly man who I assume was the manager. We were sat and a nice lady from Albania got our dishes and silverware and assisted with refills throughout our meal. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu however his demeanor was hot and cold at times. Let me start by saying the simple side salad and the bread were good but the main dishes were honestly deplorable. I don't know how they have a high rating at all. The chicken Parmesan was simply not good. The dark red sauce was unappetizing and the chicken just didn't have a good flavor to it. I got a side of penne with red sauce and it was gross. The sauce had a weird sweet and bitter taste. Another guest got the spinach pasta dish and it tasted like a bad Michelina's tv dinner. The cod fish tasted like Gortons fish. The salami on one of the salads tasted like paper. I really just couldn't believe these simple dishes went out of their way to be bad. If you're looking for a nice atmosphere with older clientele. This is your spot. If you're looking for good Italian food. You'll be better off elsewhere.

You can never go wrong here, the staff is wonderful, and the food's even better, the portions are big and the price is for the average person...

I've been going to Pietro's for about 15 years and let me say it's great to have found a family-owned, traditional restaurant with reasonably priced, good food and attentive personal service, in this era of chains and inflated prices. The food has always been tasty, the atmosphere fun, and the service first class. Pizza, scampi, toasted ravioli and grilled fish are excellent. The drinks are hearty. Wait people Jimmy and Gina outdo stand-up comics on good nights, and the whole staff is polite and efficient. I notice many large groups using the private rooms, so this must be the place for private parties. Perfect spot for dates or special occasions with the whole family.

How old is this place? OLD! It's from the 1960s. Pietro's, a STL staple, is an old family-owned restaurant that exudes "my grandma made it" with its classic Italian dishes and welcoming atmosphere. Stepping inside, the aroma of rich, Italian meals fills the air, instantly transporting patrons to their bygone era. The menu includes time-tested recipes handed down through the years, offering hearty comfort food dishes alongside cherished family specialties. My grouper was fantastic! The portions are large and it's always packed! Get there early!

We had so much fun at Pietro's the other night! I always forget how big this spot is, especially when I go back to the event space area. We waited a bit for a table, but no problem. They were super busy for a Saturday at 5pm! Our server was efficient and super busy. We ordered drinks first, and were given a wine list. We noticed there wasn't a cocktail menu which would have been super helpful! We ended up getting espresso martinis, a manhattan, and wine (not all mine lol). There was bread at the table for us, and we were brought olive oil and parm for it. For food we ordered the spinach balls which are deep fried breadcrumbs with spinach and cheese. Super delicious. I also got the dinner salad (provel= chefs kiss) and pasta Rosa. My pasta was super good. It was just the right amount of marinara mixed with the Alfredo. Chicken was fresh and cooked well. Pasta wasn't mushy, always a plus. I also really like their pizza here. It's a solid spot!

This was quiet, elegant and a perfect way to end a long day at the zoo with a ten year old. The atmosphere was inviting, peaceful and had a touch of class missing from many restaurants today. The waiter was excellent at his job and made our dinner go effortlessly. The meals we ordered were cooked to perfection. I had grilled crusted grouper, and the others on our group has fish tacos, and pasta. All was excellent. Even the kids meal. I could have sat in there for hours I enjoyed our meal and time spent there. I would give this place ten stars if I could. We did it early for supper l, around 4:30. Cannot praise this restaurant enough. Well worth going too.
