Ordered the Moonrise cocktail to start. Had the honey hot wings as an appetizer, with my main being the Lamb Chomps with veggies and mashed potatoes. It was all DELICIOUS. SERVER and staff were friendly. Didn't have to wait long to be seated or for service.

We made reservations for my daughters bday at least a month before 1st off they took forever to contact us about it every time we called we never got an answer until like a week before. So we finally put down the 250 deposit for 5 pm thought we were good. We'll nope the day of he called my daughter literally at 4:31 while we were walking out the door and said we have to be pushed back to 8pm well mind you we already had our whole day planned and didn't expect to be at prime 55 at 8 they messed up her while day had her crying and upset and had to hurry up and find somewhere else to go. And then called back at 6 and said we can come at 7 so unprofessional. I've never been here and don't plan on going here and I definitely would not recommend them to anyone

My cousin booked a reservation for 5 pm, for a party of 20 a MONTH, if not more, in advance. The DAY OF, the restaurant calls her at 4:42 and tells her that they have to move her reservation to 8 o’clock!! 3 whole hours later. Family members were already en route!! What were we supposed to do for 3 hours?! There was no apology, issued or anything; the person who called her even said, “y’all weren’t even ready yet,” when he called!!How rude!!They need to remove the word “upscale” from the description of this restaurant EXPEDITIOUSLY!!!

Staff was attentive and nice, food and drinks were good. The table placement we were seated at was a little weird. Parking or lack of parking was horrible. But I guess that's how properties are in the Delmar loop. Other than that it was nice

Our bartender/waitress was nice and very accommodating. They seemed to be low on staff which affected the score because it reflected in long wait times between ordering & receiving drinks & food. Which is why the food did not arrive hot. The mash potatoes and broccoli were below average and lamb chops just ok - if hot the chops may have been better. Although I would dine there again, I can't say I would strongly recommend.
We were rushed to order upon immediately sitting and I'm still not sure why. The lamb chops were good; however, the side of mashed potatoes was unseasoned and the vegetables tasted like they were steamed in a bag from Walmart. The customer service is subpar and not worth coming back.

We had a party of 13 and were told we had to spend a minimum of $45 per person to equal $675 before 20% gratuity. Non of the entrees are $45 so we had to order salads and appetizers to equal up to $45. They make you pay a deposit for reservations, charge 4% to use a card and ran out of mashed potatoes, eggs for the salad, spinach and the only substitution was rice pilaf. The steak was tasty and the salmon was ok. None of our food came out at the same time and it took a while before we received the pasta entrees. They have upscale prices but the place has a bar & grill atmosphere and we were in the basement. However, the waitress was nice but I can't see myself returning (1) if I pay prices like that, I expect a 5 star experience, (2) nobody carries that much cash with them to pay a bill like that, (3) they don't split the check, (4) passing on a 4% merchant fee to your customers is down right ridiculous.

I visited this restaurant yesterday celebrating my Birthday it was the worst experience I’ve had the service was trash they set us under a cold air conditioner in 50 degree weather and our table was by the elevator ppl kept bumping our table we couldn’t enjoy our food thanks for a horrible birthday

I celebrate my cousin 70th birthday at Prime 55 at Delmar. They only assigned one bartender and one waitress to work party with close to 60 guests in attendance. They ran out of Chicken Wings for the people that ordered. The food came out late, they didn't know what table to take the food too. The only thing that I enjoyed was seeing family and friends. Prime 55 really need to conduct themselves as business. Now the food that I did receive was just okay. I will not be going back to visit this restaurant.

It's a smaller restaurant but, it had a nice vibe and the staff was pretty nice. The food was good and the drinks were great. My biggest issue was the automatic gratuity and the 4% charge for using the debit card which I felt we should have been told before
My husband had his birthday there and we got there about 7. Just about the whole table wanted steak and the told us another party had the last of them and they just opened at 5. I had the pasta and it was good so my husband and I went for dinner yesterday. We got there about 7 to tell us we can't get the pasta because of another party. We ordered wings. It took forever to get our drinks and received my salad after my meal. I will never return again
