I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shay’s Donuts on Virginia in Dutchtown in South City.The warmth and sweetness from the owner made it awesome to support this local business.The cheesecake donut was nothing short of scrumptious, with its perfect balance of creamy filling and fluffy pastry. I came for a bite of a donut but I ate an entire donut. Oooppppppsssss!This spot is in a challenging neighborhood! Let's rally behind this wonderful establishment and surrounding neighborhood and show them the love and support they truly deserve.

oh my goodness this man makes the best shrimp and tripe!!
If you are old school from the hood of Sarah Lou his shrimps are on that level!!
if you are old school and loved Mamajama and Ms. Debbie's Trip well this man Tripes are better than theirs. sorry Ms. Debbie but Sterling's Tripe are so good, crispy and does not have the pull!! I wished I had the money to set this man up in a restaurant where people could come and sit down!! He cooking is amazing!! Joann
