My wife and I made reservations to have our anniversary dinner at Sister Cities and my god it did not disappoint. I asked our server about a blackened catfish po boy (which is not on the menu) and the chef came through! It was one of the single best pieces of fish I’ve ever had. Our meal was smoked wings, crab cakes, a catfish po boy and seafood gumbo. The flavors are on point and the spice is absolute perfection! Do make a reservation though if you are having dinner. A great meal takes extra care and time so be prepared to enjoy the atmosphere and have a couple of drinks while the food is lovingly prepared. The care and integrity put into the food is second to none. If you want a piece of frozen fried catfish slapped on a bun in 20 minutes, this isn’t for you. It’s an experience and event. Thank you guys for making our anniversary very special! We’ll make reservations again soon!

Outside seating was fantastic! Food was even better! The fried shrimp basket had so much flavor (shrimp and seasoned fries) and the shrimp and grits rivaled some New Orleans restaurants. Can’t wait to try the gumbo and Cajun pasta. Fresh ingredients and great atmosphere.

This place is amazing! The man who brought our food out was so friendly! The food is phenomenal. We had the nacho appetizer, and it was the best I have ever had! I will go back there for the nachos! The pasta was excellent too. Great place. Thank you

We ordered a few dishes including jambalaya, shrimp and grits and a seafood cioppino. All the seafood was very fresh and tasty. The grits were very cheesy and well cooked. Jambalaya was a little bit spicy in a good way.Service was nice as well.

Delicious food, Margaritas were good and patio was lovely! Can't beat their Mussels, shrimp and grits and smothered catfish! But today we tried new things, etoufee and mussles and crab cakes and they were fire!

We stopped by Sister Cities for a late Mardi Gras lunch a few weeks ago, and I was so impressed with my first experience here! I ordered a catfish po’boy with RBR, and both were spectacular. I grabbed a to-go shrimp po’boy to eat later, and it was just as tasty several hours later as it was out of the kitchen!I cannot recommend Sister Cities enough for Cajun food in South St. Louis ?

I ordered online for the first time on the 16th of March. When I got home, the food portions were less than lunch portion size meals….and it cost $95 for four small meals. In addition, my daughter didnt feel well after eating the food either and couldn’t finish it. I emailed the business the next day requesting a full refund, and they never responded to me. The food was not good, and my whole experience was awful. DO NOT eat here! I don’t care what the STL bloggers say, theyre biased.

The food and service was great here. Everything tasted amazing and exceeding our expectations. I only wish that the wings were cooked longer and after expressing that to the waiter she took them back and they were brought back Cajun style and crispy. I'm so sad I never tried this spot when I lived here. Totally worth a visit. We had smothered catfish, smoked wings, a side salad, and the fried potatoe salad. All just ? ?

Food was pretty good. Not sure why they don't service the tables, especially with so few people in the restaurant. Prices seem quite high.
