I got the carne asada and al pastor street tacos, as well as the elote preparado, and my partner got the hot cheetos burrito w carne asada. It was all incredible! I liked the carne asada the best, it was flavorful and the perfect texture. My partner loves spicy food and he said the Diablo sauce was very good. The owner also came to talk to us and she was very kind and friendly!

Got some carry out from amigo sole. I must admit, the menu is a bit intimidating as many of the items seem pretty unique/experimental. Nonetheless, I opted for the sunny side up al pastor sandwich. Certainly an interesting concept. I should mention I got in for carry out which may have affected things. But, the bun was very soggy and fell apart immediately. On top of that, the amount lettuce on the sandwich was crazy, I love romaine, but it was as if a salad was dropped on my sandwich. I must say, I enjoyed the al pastor. It was sweet and savory. Plus, there was also a good amount of that on there. The grilled pineapple was also a nice touch for the sandwich. I did end up having to basically eat the sandwich as a salad because it crumbled in my hands and the amount of lettuce. It also came with a side of what I think is pineapple salsa. In any case, it was very sour, almost like it was fermented. I was not a fan. I speculate I got a bad batch of the salsa. In any case, Amigo Sole was an average experience for me. Given I ordered something that seems somewhat unorthodox I was expecting them to have the entire sandwich perfected, but I would not say that is the case. Once again, I enjoyed eating it, but it did not knock my socks off. I will just put it in the perfectly average or neutral category.

The service was fast and friendly and they worked with accommodations. The fish street tacos are a must try. I also had the Birria ramen bowl it wasn’t what I expected from the noodles but it tasted ok I also added the fish to it instead of the the baria which was my personal choice.

I spent $100 here because everything on the menu looks amazing! For the most part it was. Imma need the team that works there to put on hairnets. My hot cheeto burrito had the longest black hair I’d ever seen, in it. Please invest in hairnets for your customers.
