My son and I take field trips to different places when he's visiting from L. A! The staff is super friendly and the ambiance is super cute! The food is top tier and the juice taste like nectar from the gods! My son had the tamale dish and it tasted like a yummy vacation! I had the cheese grits and let's say the whole bowl was devoured in 10 minutes, so creamy and delicious. My son and I shared the cheese sandwich which was delicious as well! I'm so coming back! The wait time wasn't too long and street parking is available.

Songbird is a keeper on my list of breakfast lunch spots. Nice & cozy space. Bright and uplifting inside. Started my besties birthday here and we both had delicious selections. I had the lox on the bialy which was layers of delight to my palette . All my favs on it. She had the spinach frittata which she yummed right up. We shared the pound cake with the lemon sauce and that was ok. The real winner was the frozen yogurt sandwich between the pecan granola . Muah!! That was very delicious. Our server Hannah was attentive and cheery. My only disappointment was, I ordered the cheddar grits and only when they didn't arrive with the other food was I told they were out of them . Guess I'll have to return.

Perhaps the cutest local brunch diner I’ve been to in St Louis. The breakfast combo sandwich is the reason why I will be coming back. It was soooo amazing good. The honey touch of sweetness, the perfectly cooked over easy egg, the savory bacon, and salt garnished toast. I WILL BE COMING BACK. Mark my words ???

Reservations are highly encouraged. We didn’t know this and just showed up on a whim. The place isn’t super huge, even with a few tables out on the sidewalk. Lots of people running around and everything seemed to be pretty organized.It’s a fun place to eat for sure. My wife and I sat at the bar since it was just the two of us (first available table). No worries there.The food around us certainly helped us decide on what to order. My wife thoroughly loved the carrot cake French toast. I opted for the more traditional breakfast plate and enjoyed my food as well.Our waitress was attentive and sweet. I’d totally go back.

Came in for my reservation today with my partner and our 14 month old and was told they didn’t have highchairs so we left. :( they did offer us a grilled cheese for the road for her which was really sweet but you’d think such a popular spot would have at least one. Just a heads up for the others with little ones trying to brunch!

Best breakfast sandwich in the whole city! Don’t let the one stars scare you, Chris is an amazing business owner and member of the community. She runs a successful business that is busy everyday they are open, you might have to wait…Great problem to have in a growing community. Thanks songbird!!
