Stopped in for breakfast with my partner while staying at the hotel for work. The food is wonderful, however their servers need more basic training.I had been in earlier that morning to eat alone, but decided to join him for his meal, and to enjoy another cup of coffee myself.Our server, who I believe was named Vicky, was unbelievably rude and callous. She recognized me from my meal earlier that morning (despite not being my server at that time).The inappropriate behavior started with her telling me (a petite female) that I needed to eat more since I didn’t finish my food earlier. She then moved on to telling me I “shouldn't touch my face”, after watching me brush my hand against my chin. Before I could even respond and ask why that mattered, she proceeded to berate me, telling me that my face would “only get worse”. I deal with genetic, cystic acne. I’m insecure already and in enough literal pain due to this. I don’t need some random middle-aged waitress telling me not to touch my own face. I truly have yet to understand why she felt comfortable bringing this up, and then also felt comfortable enough to continue talking about it despite both mine and my partner’s discomfort. By the time she finally walked away to get our drinks, I was in tears.Each time she returned to our table, I was given another comment about how I needed to eat more food and about my appearance. It felt like I was in the high school cafeteria being bullied by some 16 year old girl. Needless to say, we did not tip.I highly recommend the Station Grille do some form of basic customer service training for their staff. There are certain things that should never come out of your mouth while doing a job like this.

From the entrance to the close the brunch was awesome fresh fruit great greetings, the staff was great atmosphere under construction but was not noticeable the staff open communication from the waitress to the cook never missed a beat it was a unexpected visit we will return. I will give them a five ⭐️ the hot chocolate was really good?!!!Wheelchair accessibility: It was wonderful being able to go in to a place that was not too tight that was wheelchair accessible the staff was friendly sent me an open error but not away from everyone I felt ? welcome And not in the way

My friends and I celebrated my birthday Saturday afternoon. The service was excellent and food was delicious. The hostess was kind, professional and helpful. We met Chefs Anthony and Carl.The omelets where too good! Our server was awesome. I think her name was Sharon. her daughter works there as well. We had a great time. The restaurant was lovely! We will recommend!! Very impressed!

Bottom Line: Lovely interior and friendly service for breakfast. My husband and I went to The Station Grille for breakfast while staying at the hotel. To avoid having to make any decisions before coffee my husband and I both decided to get the breakfast buffet. The buffet included coffee, juice, fruit, pastries, eggs, omelets to order, pancakes, waffles and plenty of other goodies. I can't recall the price but I as thinking it was $17 and a great deal. We enjoyed our meal with the omelet and service being the highlights. I don't think I would necessarily venture to The Station Grille just for breakfast but as a hotel guest I definitely recommend it. (Plus, there aren't really many other options in the area.).

WOW!x3.Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.Though the actual Grille seating was not available because of low patronage, this actually was the right move as I was able to dine at the Grand Hall.Ordered the filet that came with perfectly cooked broccoli and potatoes au gratin that were different but good.Enjoyed dinner and a show...a light show to be more precise. Definitely an experience and should you find yourself in St. Louis, a must.

I had a dinner and a beer at the bar, so your results may vary. Overall I really enjoyed the food and the decor was to be expected with a place like Union Station. I had the quinoa bowl, and it was definitely worth the price, and was actually one of the best vegetarian meals I’ve had downtown. I’d easily come back sometime for a more formal dinner, and possibly when there isn’t a wedding also going on.Overall, definitely a place to try if you live downtown, and if you’re visiting the city for a couple days, it’s not a bad spot to spend the evening if you wanna stay in for the night.
