I don't need to say much for this place. I've been here a few times and it is always consistently very good. It's my #1 place to recommend for creative and quality roasts to try. This was my first time trying their espresso, and it is equally good in its own way. I may be ordering it again. Also got a 4pack of cold brew to go and added chocolate milk at home, I like 30% milk to 70% cold brew ratio.

Sump Coffee is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of south St. Louis. As a coffee aficionado, I can confidently say that Sump exceeds all expectations. Their commitment to small-batch roasted coffee shines through in every sip, delivering rich, nuanced flavors that truly elevate the coffee experience. The ambiance of the beautifully renovated historic building adds to the charm of this coffee haven. Whether you're meeting a friend for a catch-up or settling in for some quiet reflection, Sump provides the perfect atmosphere. While the selection of pastries is limited, each item is carefully curated and complements the coffee offerings perfectly. But the real star of the show? The unique, well-crafted lattes. From classic favorites to innovative creations, Sump's lattes are a delight for the senses, beautifully presented and expertly crafted. Overall, Sump Coffee is a must-visit for any coffee lover in St. Louis. With its exceptional coffee, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff, it's become my go-to spot for my caffeine fix. Highly recommended!

I love Sump! When comparing all the lattes I have tried in St. Louis (even Chicago and New York), Sump's lattes are some of my favorites. The espresso is fresh, the milk is meticulously frothed, and their flavor combinations are a balance between innovative and classic. The lattes have a wonderfully smooth texture and are never too sweet. My go to latte is the Vanilla Rum Latte ($6). Today, however, I mixed it up and tried a lavender vanilla latte ($6). The lavender added an earthiness that balanced the sweetness of the vanilla syrup perfectly! I mainly stick with lattes at Sump but have also enjoyed their pourovers. I have never had a negative experience with the team working at Sump. They are warm, welcoming, and kind. The wait for your order is standard: 5-10 minutes, depending on how busy it is at that time. In terms of the ambiance, Sump embodies an alternative, hip vibe. Their branding includes skulls, and their interior design incorporates reclaimed wood accents. However, Sump has limited seating, and it is difficult to find seating during the day if you plan on sticking around. I have also studied at Sump a time or two, but it is not my go-to place to do so due to the limited seating. All-in-all, Sump has some of the best coffee in St. Louis. Despite a somewhat crammed interior, Sump is a go-to spot for me to grab a latte!

Found this spot randomly and I really liked the vibe and atmosphere we got two lattes and they were really good. Would be nice if they had utensils and sugar out instead of having to ask.

This is a wonderful shop. I tried the Columbia GuavaBanana pour-over and, I must say, it was the best tasting coffee I have ever had. I was able to taste light notes of banana and citrus. While it was delicious, paying almost $8.00 for a cup off coffee may not be worth it for everyone. However, if you enjoy high quality coffee, please check this spot out! I am going to try their lattes next.

Phenomenal coffee, but rather small cups. More a place to go and hang out than a place to get a coffee for work. Great friendly staff.

This place is very cool. You can tell that they take pride in their drinks and coffee beans. Chill vibe and fast internet. I like that they have a decent amount of seating and a cute patio. I drive over from Illinois just to buy their coffee beans. Also, try their chocolate. It's incredible!

This is the best place for pour over coffee in St. Louis. Last time I got coffee with notes of "Fruity pebbles and Starburst". It's an Incredible experience you won't get anywhere else.
