I have been going here since I was a kid, many years ago! Moved around a lot due to military and never found better tasting Chinese food!John, the owner makes the best dishes, consistently good. I return whenever I’m in town, he knows me by name and remembers my order.Best food, best customer service , a must have if you’re in the STL area. You can thank me later ?Parking: Open lot with plenty of spaces, free parking.
One of the best Chinese spots in the greater St. Louis area! The proprietor couldn't have been friendlier and gave a great recommendation since I've never been here before. The shrimp fried rice was great with a generous number of shrimp. The Crab Rangoon was some of the best I've had in recent memory, and I get them a few times a week. It's not the closest to me, but I'll be coming back here more often

This area (Grand & Washington) is in a "Chinese Food desert" with no other options for miles. Small establishment, small unique (and only a few traditional Americanized options) menu, inexpensive, ample parking, friendly staff / owner. Arrived at 11:30am on a nice Thursday. There were a few patrons waiting for orders, but no one eating inside. Menu options appear as pictures on the wall with a small board menu behind the counter. There is a small whiteboard with Chinese words. I presume this is a special menu for Chinese speakers. Meal options were mostly served as combos, but I suspect you can get just the individual items. Mostly the menu features fried rice with a pick of protein plus side items that included Rangoons, egg rolls, chicken wings, or chicken strips. Some curry options were available. I had the pork fried rice (3.5/5) with chicken egg rolls (3/5). Everything served piping hot. Pork was sliced , tasty Chinese barbecue pork. Rice was soy sauce forward with egg and scallions. Chicken egg roll was probably frozen, but was still tasty and featured cabbage. The gentleman who took my order also cooked the food. He was friendly and helpful. Very clean inside. Total cost was $10.10 for cash. Honestly, I went here craving general Tsao or Mongolian beef, but I quickly realized this place has a somewhat limited menu and not your traditional Americanized Chinese restaurant menu. Oh well - it was still good. Might try the dish in a noodle option next time.

Great Chinese place. Very clean for being an older building.
I have been coming here since I was a kid, and the food still taste good. This isn't your average Chinese Hood rice, but it is different in a good way. The food is always steaming hot.

This is my go-to lunch place. The owner is extremely friendly, the food is made fresh and is delicious, and I have no complaints. I get the mapo tofu extra spicy and it just hits the spot. Highly recommend
