Terror Tacos has been in my radar for a while and we finally went last night! I didn't know it was as small as it is. There were four of us and when we got there we ended up having to sit at the high top communal table because that's all that was available. I don't like high top tables, but it was better than nothing. You can order at the counter or via QR at your table. My husband ordered our food and said the process was annoying, as did our friends. It's dark in there! People were using their phone flashlights to read the menu. And the music was loud so everyone was talking over it and it was a lot. After we ordered our food, a four top table opened up and we moved there. The cocktails came out after a little while. The food took much longer - maybe about an hour. There were people coming in for carry out orders. So even when it didn't seem there were many people in there after a while, they still had to go orders sprinkled in there. The food menu had peppers next to the menu items. The bigger the piece of pepper, the spicier. Another diner explained that to us. The tacos are a decent size. Two were plenty for me. If I were really hungry, I would maybe be able to eat two and a half. The tacos and the drinks were really good! I'd definitely go back!

This was my must try place when I came to STL! If I were to open a restaurant it would’ve been exactly like this… Tacos + Horror = Genius. The decor alone was frightful in the best way possible. The service was outstanding too. The tacos were so delicious, and flavorful. The prices were also great. I highly recommend you check them out.

This place is awesome. Great setting and friendly service. The tacos were outstanding! I had three different ones and they all packed amazing flavor and s good deal of heat. I am not vegan but I do appreciate flavorful tacos and this place definitely delivers!

Loved the burrito and nachos that my husband and I shared. However, my mom seemed pretty certain that the rice in her bowl was just plain, rather than cilantro lime.

I really wanted to love this place. I loved the service and kindness, the concept of the place as a whole, and the idea of vegan tacos in St Louis. But honestly the food just wasn't great. The nachos were pretty good, the tacos... were not... again I appreciate you guys for being here, we need more niche vegan places everywhere and anywhere, but yeah, not my favorite.

I'm so glad I finally came here! I was concerned about the spice level in the food, as I've read many reviews saying how hot things were. But my friend and I spoke to the bartender who explained how to see how spicy everything was before we placed our order. We were both hungry and knew we wanted to have leftovers for later. I got the Citrus Mistress taco, and a bowl with fajita peppers, seitan slices, white rice, a sauce, cilantro, and sour cream. Oh, and a soda to cool the tongue. The Taco had a definite citrus flavor, which I loved. The "meat" was very good, flavorful without being too spicy. I also enjoyed what I had of the bowl. The overall spice level was dangerously close to being too much, but the sour cream and the soda helped to cool my tongue. I had plenty for leftovers, and I know I will enjoy it a second time as well. This is a really small space, but they had an old horror show playing, the darkness helped set the whole scary theme!

I'm a start off by saying the food is amazing if you're into the full vegetarian experience the reason I only gave four stars is because I ordered my meal the day before at 3 o'clock because I wanted it for dinner that night however, I guess they were closed but yelp and their personal website said they were open so when I ordered my food Told me that it would be ready the following day at 11:45. I'm not gonna lie. I was very upset about it. However, the food was amazing.

We loved our experience at Terror Taco! What a crazy, fun, and weird concept! If you’re a vegan & a horror movie lover, this is your place! The food was great & the atmosphere kept a smile on our faces the whole time. The portion sizes are huge as well - you definitely get your money’s worth!

Where have you been all my life, Terror Tacos? Fabulous fully-vegan menu! Great guacamole. Very reasonable prices for food and drinks. Quality margarita. Perfect execution of every inch and minute of the atmosphere. Order at the table with the QR Code, and the food comes out quickly. If we lived in Saint Louis, this would be one of our regular spots. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.Vegetarian options: Everything.Dietary restrictions: All-vegan menu. Yum! Yay!Kid-friendliness: Great for older kids!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible seating and bathrooms.

As a non-vegan, I love coming here for their tacos! This fully vegan restaurant is filled with horror themed decor. You order at the counter, then grab a seat. It's a pretty small restaurant so it can get very busy and have a longer wait time. The tacos never disappoint so it's hard to try something new like the burrito and quesadillas (some day!) The chocolate chip cookies are amazing! The margaritas are ok. They do not mess around with their spice - tacos and drinks.
