Wow! This place was soo cool. I found it via Google search for a good Cuban sandwich. I realized that I came here as a child when it was just a bar. The atmosphere is soo cool inside. The food is the best part though. The Cuban honestly did not impress me visually, but when I took a bite... oh my! The pork butt was soo good. My mom had the famous Picadilly fish. She wanted to try the Mayfair salad, but didn't want the whole salad so they made her a side salad with Mayfair dressing. They make this dressing in house and its amazing. I had a cup of Gumbo with my sandwich and it was soo good. I forgot to get a picture of it, but I have to believe it was homemade. I will definitely come back. You should come try it too.

Ladies waiting tables were super. Younger servers at most places just care about the tip and not the service. But at Piccadilly they actually care about the customer. Will be

The Piccadilly at Manhattan is my go-to for fried chicken and is one of St. Louis' oldest continuously operated family restaurants. Also it is a small and cozy restaurant with great with great customer service that has what I consider to be the best and freshest fried chicken that would rival my Grandma's iron skillet southern fried chicken and that is to standing! I love getting the Mayfair salad as well with the very tasty Mayfair dressing. One thing I've wanted to he chicken pot pie with the big pastry crust but every time I return I'm craving fried chicken so keep getting this plate instead but oh well, maybe one day soon.

Great service and nice people. Smash double cheese burger is my favorite on the menu and over burgers anywhere around. (Mmmm... smashed.) The seasonal salads are always choice as well.

Great pot pies. We did not call soon enough to get a reservation and had to wait about 30 minutes. They cook to order so pot pies take 30 minutes.

My wife and I went here on a weekday at noon, and it got very busy very quickly. We sat at the bar rather than wait for a table, which was fine with us. The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. The place has its own decor of things the owners have collected up. This time I ordered the seafood pot pie, and my wife ordered the fish sandwich. The order seemed to take awhile but they were busy and we weren’t in a hurry. When it arrived, the pot pie looked wonderful. Unfortunately it was not very hot inside. I asked if it could be heated some more and the waiter was great, apologized, and returned it in a few minutes. This time it was piping hot, which is what I expect when at a restaurant. I guess traveling to other places around the world spoiled me, but I refuse to accept food that is practically at room temperature as seems to be in vogue here in the US. Now, my my wife’s fish sandwich was outstanding, on a soft hoagie bun, with a side of tasty tarter sauce. We also ordered a side of onion rings which were excellent too, hot, crispy, and perfectly cooked. We’ve eaten at Piccadilly several time and never have really been disappointed. Did I mention the full bar?, however no draft beer.

Our waitress was excellent, and made great drinks! The atmosphere managed to be somewhat pub like without losing the local diner feel, if that’s at all possible ; ) besides offering a great basic menu, there are also a wide range of frozen take-home dishes (including lasagna, blackberry cobbler, and bread pudding) so it makes it possible to get lunch and bring home dinner at the same time. I ordered the Meltdown, which definitely lived up to what it’s name alluded to- melted cheese in ample quantities- presented on satisfyingly buttery crisp toast. The fries that came with were nice and crisp too, but not overdone. I’m most likely going to try the chicken pot pie the next time I visit. This was a great find in a charming little building.
