Our waiter Ryan was great. He provided excellent service and was very concerned about our experience. Chef Shelby did an excellent job preparing our steaks and presentation was beautiful.

Steak was good but expensive. The scalps were the best I've ever had.

Tomahawk, ordered rare, was perfect. The filet was ordered medium rare, but was cooked medium well, so it was not very enjoyable. The scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. The baked potato was perfect. The Brussel sprouts were wonderfully caramelized, the best I've ever eaten.

Still a very good place! Everything very tasty with great drinks! The items at the bar are also delicious (Burger and steak sandwich) - service always good.

The Tenderloin Room has been one of my favorite places to eat in all of St. Louis. This is mainly because of its value. For its 5-star prices, you get huge portions and don't have to go to another restaurant afterward to feel full. Their choices are flavorful, always served at the right temperature, the service is top notch and the ambiance is intimate which is perfect. Their wine list is second to none and some deserts are prepared right there at the table. It's an all-in-one experience that I recommend to everyone!

Everything was great except the plates that the steaks were served on were cool and that made the steaks just warm and for 400 you would hope for perfection or at least closer to that. thanks

First time here and I will definitely come back next time I am in town. I had the pork chop and tenderloin garlic potatoes. I didn't realize my plate came with mashed potatoes. Either way bout we're great. We shared the tenderloin potatoes and my coworker had the salmon. The wine choices were great and service was spectacular.

Our visit to the Tenderloin Room was fantastic start to finish. The valet parking that is available is quick and courteous and very inexpensive. We arrived about 2 minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately and it was obvious that they had set up our corner bench table for just two anticipating our reservation. As I watched through our dinner you could see the wait staff setting tables precisely for the next reserved party. Setting up a table for four with just two place settings. A table for two was set up for one person. This is a very welcome special touch. The menu choices are not extensive but offer a delicious variety. Our salads were so fresh and well dressed. A sea food cart is presented table side for you to choose Smoked Salmon, Shrimp Coctail or Clamari Salad. This Shrimp Coctail was perfect and the Smoked Salmon was some of the best I've ever tasted. All prepared at table side. Our entrees were fantastic and prepared just as ordered. It was our anniversary and I noted that on our reservation. Though we had planned to decline dessert we were treated to a decadent chocolate cake with cherry icecream lit with a candle. A very welcome and delicious end to our celebration. The service was efficient and helpful and pleasant. Our server was Abe and he was excellent. All of the wait staff step up to help one another so that the service throughout the restaurant is smooth. There is a brief but well planned wine list by the glass which I appreciate. And I highly recommend the Rat Pack cocktail. I highly recommend dining at the Tenderloin Room for an exceptional experience. As I noted all of the service was top notch but when I return I will ask for Abe. By the way, during our conversation Abe and I discovered he was a former student of mine from 32 years ago. During out visit the restaurant was full but it did not feel crowded. The noise level was very quiet without any intrusive background music.

My wife and I have date night at least once a month. The Tenderloin Room is one our most preferred places to dine. The entire atmosphere is remarkable. We especially love having dinner next to the fireplace.

The service was perfect. It was one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. I would definitely go back here. If I’m ever in St. Louis. It was well worth the money.

A group of friends and I went for a birthday celebration. The service was great and the food was amazing! They even brought out a cake to celebrate. Would definitely recommend and I would go back again.

The restaurant was nice but had the feel of a hotel restaurant because it is in a hotel. We were greeted nicely and were seated quickly and waited a few minutes for the waiter to take our order for drinks and appetizers. Waiter was very nice and lively but seemed to have too many tables because was hard to get his attention sometimes. After we ordered he oddly left the book size menus on the table even after bringing the drinks and appetizers? We had to flag him down to take them so we had room on table for entrées. I ordered the ribeye and had it rare plus which was a mistake on my part because the steak was not hot when I started eating it. It was not really seasoned well like it would be at Ruth's Chris or Morton's. Overall for an average price of 70 bucks for a steak I expected a better steak and most annoying was the table was not stable. So cutting the steak would make the table move every time shaking the drinks. The steaks came with whipped butter on top which should have melted on the steak! Was nice dinner because of the company but overall very average experience.

Loved our dinner. Salmon was some of the best I've ever had. Husband ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly with great flavor. For a side, he ordered the fingerlings with chimchurri - delicious.

First timers lived the surf and turf filet and lobster tail-honey butter/bread delicious and that seafood cheese hot appetizer is making my mouth water now-what a perfect experience! Ryan was perfection!
