My experience was bad. They came to the table late, after they took care of tables, that came in after us! The food was horrible. The bacon was under cooked! My pancakes was burned and no strawberry! It was over before it got started.

This is one of the best breakfast spots in St. Louis. Good service, classic authenticity, and great flavors. If you're looking for an authentic breakfast experience that transcends the overdone and over-processed tastes at major breakfast chains, then this is a place I wholeheartedly recommend. I loved the food and genuinely felt full throughout the day with what I was able to eat for under $20.

If the food is not right the food is not right. The Owner is a horrible ogre. I've had to send my food back on many occasions. I only go there because my friend loves their food I do not. I am only giving this rating because of the service that I had on thursday april 4. Is shane shame shame on him.

I’ve been going to Uncle Bill’s Pancake and Dinner House for 50 years. I’ve always loved the food. I was recently there last Sunday and was surprised to find out they were closing at 5:00. The food was still great, and the service was very good, but I was disappointed that the hours didn’t match what it says on Google Maps. The mapsite said they have hours until 7:00 pm. Today, I went over with another friend. We arrived at 3:00 pm and were told the restaurant was already closed. That was very disappointing, as both of us were so looking forward to dining there. After all these years, it’s so sad to say that apparently the restaurant will be closing permanently before long, because people are just going to quit coming over, thinking that they won’t be open.

Paid almost $50 for a cheese burger with over cooked fries, a country fried steak with fries and a side salad ( a bowl of lettuce with a bit of cheeses prinkled on top and about a tablespoon of ranch) , and 3 very small sodas . Not once did the wait staff ask us if we wanted refills. Will not be returning.

Lets start with the good:This is a great little restaurant with some the best breakfast food in Saint Louis. With a wide variety of of breakfast and lunch options its no wonder it was rated the best breakfast restaurant in 2018The bad:Waiting for seating is a bit of a pain, with little communication from staff on seating status.Getting someone to anwser the phone is like pulling teeth, when someone does finally pick up they are usually a bit short and rude, so to go order are a pain.Lastly the restaurant is completely safe during the day but the area can get a little rough at night.
