My partner loves focaccia, so to celebrate his recent publication, I ordered one of the classic rosemary focaccias along with some snickerdoodle cookies & the rye chocolate sesame cookies. He is obsessed. Best focaccia he's ever had. Planning to order more next week! This is a hidden gem of St Louis.

I stumbled across this by accident and I'm glad that I did. The basic country loaf is great. All of the variants so far have been great--the olive and herb is fantastic. The focaccias are wonderful. That Funeral Potato version is killer for a crowd. Can't wait to try the mushroom.

I'm a little late to review this as I've been going here for months, but better late than never. There are a handful of places to get great bread in St. Louis and this is definitely one. Sure you can't just walk in a buy a loaf, but the ordering is easy and getting it is as well. It's worth the extra steps. There are some weekly staples in addition to some new breads/items that are seasonal and all are a real treat. Definitely give Upper Crust a try. You won't be disappointed!

Upper Crust Bread is amazing. Honestly, this storefront offers more interesting than most of the other bread bakeries in the area. I absolutely love the focaccia which we order regularly but the loaves are also very good. Most recently I got a cheddar jalapeno loaf (pictured) but I also love the country, sunflower wheat, rye, sesame semolina, and the Kümmelweck. I honestly like them all and I love that some of the offerings change based on the local specialties available and what can be foraged.

Absolutely amazing bread, flavorful, rich, healthy and delightful. I really like the herbed butter as well. I found the pricing solid too as the loaves are generously sized and dense. Highly recommend.

There was a time I ate the Rye Chocolate Chunk & Black Sesame Cookies every single day for 2 months. The focaccia is the best I’ve ever had. Jeff is an excellent baker and it feels good knowing your money is going to someone who puts his heart into his craft.

It is the best sourdough I’ve ever had (country loaf), but I don’t even get that anymore because the focaccia and milk bread buns are so stupid good and I can only eat so much bread each week.
