This place has lost my business forever. Wanted to try Korean BBQ so drove 50 minutes from Wentzville. Was estimated to be there by 8:30 but hit some traffic and walked in at 9pm, 1 hour before they close. Was greeted very rudely by 2 employees that refused to get a manager and said that they were closed and could not seat our party of 2. Went to Timothy’s down the street who also closes at 10pm and were treated very well and the food was delicious! As for Korean BBQ, I’ll be going to Seoul Garden as it’s better anyways.

I liked the taste of the meat, the guys who help kindly, only if they could have a picture of the meat styles, for those who are just going to try this style, you see a little confusing

I absolutely adore Korean BBQ. Going here for lunch is usually positive experience. I get the spicy pork and stew. I've also come here for dinner and loved it then, but I get here far more often for lunch.

It is pricey $$$ not sure why. Wait I know why it’s call Inflation. Service Differently needs to work on. Portions of foods need to be more for the price that we pay.

Server and manager saying different things which confused us. That happened like three times but food was good but the floors were greasy and restrooms weren't the cleanest.

Sad to be writing this: If you get put on the waitlist, make sure you go inside & check in with the attendant. Waited all of 2 hours (with 3 different attempts to check on our status on line, to which the “manager” told us we still needed to wait), just to find out our spot had been ready the whole time. No coordination between staff. Came in originally at 6:30, came back at 9:00 & the attendant said “oh, you guys never received a text?”No, we never received a text & the “manager” had been telling us the entire time that our table wasn't ready. At this point we finally made it in, but were unfortunately told that we couldnt order half of what was on the menu because the kitchen was closing. That’s understandable. What’s NOT understandable is that we were being rushed (spent 5 minutes looking at menu options & deciding if we even wanted to still eat there) then the “manager” that was turning us away on the phone, came over aggressively to let us know that we needed to order at the moment that she was standing over us. Completely ignoring us telling her we had to wait for 2 hours & that we were first time customers. I was excited to try but I guess I never will.If you’re going there just be aware of the waitlist & the time you’ll potentially be wasting.

We were disappointed,We do the same style at Home and know what should be expected as well as being Asian. We had to ask for our lettuce after eating already for 15 or more minutes, our side dishes came out well into the end of our meal. We were at our table of 2 and after being seated 10 minutes another party of 4 sat near us… all their food soup etc came out well before ours did…..Also the grill for cooking took forever to cook our meat, no way it was working correctly. After inquiring they said it would take 15 minutes to heat up, when we said we been waiting for over 20 minutes they had no answer. After finally cooking our food which was tasty and satisfying , We came to the conclusion it was Not worth the price and the service was not that great and the place could use some freshening up .

This place was very busy so either come earlier or make a reservation. I’ve been to this restaurant for the last 5-7 years and the quality of the food get worse and worse. Their ACYE selection is around 5 different meats so it’s gets tiring fast. The service is slow. Their side dishes are also lacking. They used to offer 6-7 side dishes and now it’s just 4. The quality of meat isn’t the best either. This place is only popular because there isn’t enough competition around. It is still a fun experience but bring no more than 6 people. The tables only have 1 grill in it and it can only cook so much food at a time. Any more than 6 and you’ll just be waiting around with an empty plate.

This is one of the best food experiences to share with someone, whether it’s a significant other or just with friends! The food is AMAZING. My group of 3 each ordered the LA Galbi All you can eat dinner which came with a premium Galbi meat (marinated bone in short rib). Our first round we got was the Beef Bulgogi and the LA Galbi and lemme tell ya it was a FANTASTIC way to start. The meat was SOOOO delicious and after a few cooks it really started to caramelize on the grill. 10/10 was definitely my 2 favorite things we ordered. Our second round was the Beef brisket and the pork belly. Once again both good on the grill but here was a totally different flavor. Neither meat was marinated. The brisket was thin and got crispy and almost tasted like beef bacon. 8/10 for me not as much flavor but really fun and easy to cook. The pork belly was really thick and came with several large slices. It was good but personally my least favorite. It took a while to cook and didn’t really crisp up very well. The flavor was just bland pork so we spiced it up with some sauce but I’d give it a 4/10 and it was my least favorite from our order. Our 3rd and last order was to get the beef bulgogi again (seriously it so amazing) and we also got the spicy chicken. The chicken was very tender and delicious and got crispy on the grill. The sauce was not spicy at all which is probably good for some people but I would have preferred a little more kick. 7/10 for the chicken. The meal also came with a seafood pancake, one soup and one steamed egg to share among the table. We also each got a bowl of rice and got a side plate of small vegetables and kimchi. The restaurant is on the small side and has some wear and tear but I feel like this adds to the charm. It was completely packed on a Friday night and we did make a reservation in advance in order to get in. We stayed about 2 hours and had wonderful service the whole time.I can’t wait to come back and would love to bring new friends or people who haven’t tried Korean food before.

I love Wudon. It is always our Go-To korean resto with my husband and we have been here multiple times (i guess 7x now) since we found it in Google maps when we were searching for samgyeupsal. The employees are friendly and courteous. They give your order as fast as they can. Some things to take note though:1. They have variety of meat choices or menu. You can do the "all you can eat" where it is unlimited, however theres a "limit" on certain meat and side dishes but still so good.2. It is almost always busy, especially on the weekends, where you have to wait 1-2hours to be seated. We have done it many times but it is so worth it so the wait wont matter. Its up to you if you could stomach the wait.. ?3. Its much better on weekedays where you can be seated or wait after 5-10mins as they prep the table. If you want to go weekends for a dinnet, go early around 4 to 5 where it is still no too busy.4. If youre getting the "all you can eat" option, i think you have a 2 hours time limit to finish your order. Im not sure though on the other menu options.5. It is a little pricey though, for me. I cant compare as i havent been to another samgyeupsal restaurants, but still as a korean food lover, i can succumb to the price as the food is appetizing and worth the price and wait.Go and visit Wudon. (Sorry i dont have pictures for proof- will do next time though). ??????

We love trying new places, and this was our first time here. I went to scoot my chair in and stuck my hand in something sticky and gross. I wiped it off thought it was probably random, no biggie. The food was cheap compared to some of the other Korean BBQs in the area, but theres a reason why. AYCE selection very limited. Must be short staffed. Only saw one server and a couple of people helping her. She did her best, but service was slow. Overall food was ok. Sides were just ok and most meats were bland. Beef bulgogi and spicy pork were tasty. I was on the fence about how I was feeling until I looked over and saw the filth on the chairs. Ive worked in many of restaurants, and if this is what they allow in the dining room, cant imagine what the kitchen looks like. Bathrooms were gross, too. Sorry to say dont think we will be back.
