In my personal opinion this restaurant is home to the best burger known to man, no toppings needed. The service is fast, efficient and incredibly kind and the atmosphere is perfectly retro. Whenever me and my family were fixing up a neighbors house we always ordered the meatloaf and brought it back to our house and it always hit the spot perfectly. both dine in and take out are going to please you. over all I believe this is possibly the best restaurant in Sainte Genevieve.

Fried chicken was great. They have the best onion rings. And my daughter loves their liver and onions. My wife liked the chicken strips. Make sure you call before you go there. Every once in awhile they will close early.

We basically stumbled across Cafe Genevieve - and we more than pleasantly surprised - the decorations were really fun to look at - all the old photos - the staff were excellent - and the food... was in-expensive - delicious and generously portioned. We will visit every time we come down to hit the shops and stores etc. Highly Recommend it!

The potatoes are REAL mashes taters. The family that runs it is great. When did u go to eatvwhen the owners mom fries your chicken. The current $6.99 lunch is the best deal in the country. And everything I have eaten there has been great. We drive 50 miles to eat there and visit with the hard wirking family that runs it.
