“My husband wanted to surprise me for valentines day/Mardi Gras with a taste of home. This lovely woman has given me a lovely treat with her homemade king cake. Not only was it made fully from scratch but she also allowed me to have a taste of her family's recipe. I will definitely be ordering more king cakes from her in the future and maybe other cakes. I would highly recommend ordering your special cakes and treats from her. Thank you again for my lovely king cake.“

“12 family members visiting Washington, MO dropped in to Joe’s for lunch about 1:30 on a weekday and received excellent service, a delicious lunch, and scrumptious desserts. They let us move tables so we could all sit together and even offered to take our order at the table rather than having all of us come up to the counter to order since we were such a large group. I would certainly recommend the food and I feel we received wonderful service!“

“Very good, but not excellent. Tasty, yet not like Schultes when I was a kid. The icing is not as thick on the long johns and the cake donuts not as cake like, however compared to other products currently available they are quite good and reasonably priced. I purchased a half dozen assortment for $10. Shop was clean and counter help nice.“
