We were like 2 pm for the lunch . I don’t know the name of the server but he is the most racist and rude server i ever saw in my life. I didn’t know they weren’t serving dinner at that time . He could have told me verbally but he approached to us rudely and try to hurry us with the order . Also he physically snatched the menu from my hand and somewhat bang on the table . I felt bad about it and asked why he do that . He is trying to racist by mentioning “ are you a Nepali “ . So what every country should be treated equally as a customer . Period. If you wanna survive in service industry, please do learn to respect customer.

Tumeric is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We have been here numerous times, and we were always happy with the quality of food and service here after each visit. The wait staffs have been friendly and welcoming. Tumeric provided a pleasant and soothing ambience in addition to comfy booth seatings. They sold out of chicken 65 tonight, so my partner got the Kale Palak Chaat. This was an interesting dish where kales was disguised in a yummy way - crispy and flavorful. We also got Paper Dosa and Butter Chicken. We tried a few places served Dosa in STL but Tumeric's Dosa is the best! I highly recommended the Paper Dosa here. Basically, Dosa is a thin, crispy, Indian style crepe made from fermented rice and lentil batter - definitely a vegan friendly item. You can pick your own fillings such as potato/egg/chicken or lamb. My favorite is the potato filling. Their butter chicken served with Basmati rice on the side was finger licking good!!!! The sauce was very buttery/creamy, and the chicken was very moist. It's even better when warm fresh Garlic Naan dip in the sauce. Highly recommend!!!Vegetarian options: Paper DosaKid-friendliness: High chairs

The atmosphere is fun and lively. The menu is diverse and offers a little bit of everything which I really like. I got the paper dosa which was phenomenal! The staff were friendly and we were seated right away.

Food was excellent. But I went and sat at the bar because it was just me. I had been craving Indian food all week and this hit the spot perfectly.but I felt like guide them through service as if I was training a new hire at my restaurant.

Very good food and attentive service. Dislikes: Menu looked like it had been handled by 100 people. Front entry door glass badly needed to be cleaned. A bit more attention to the appearance of cleanliness would make this place even more appealing.

Service was extremely slow, and the food was below average. They did not have a lot of the vegetarian dishes on the menu. The paneer was bright orange (I suspect they put some sort of color because it looked unnatural), it tasted rubbery and the gravy was very sweet. I also tried their cauliflower small plates, which again were a bit too sweet and overdone. The mango lassi was alright.Vegetarian options: As someone who does not eat meat, this place is not that great. There aren't many options to begin with, and even those on the menu were not available in the restaurant.

Not sure about the food but their customer service sucks. The guy on the call was so rude while I was making reservation. Tried twice in 2 years to go and dine in but both of the time the staff was super rude. I don’t have comments on the food but I wouldn’t want to eat somewhere we are not welcomed.

Turmeric is one of the best Indian restaurants in STL. Excellent food, wonderful location, top-notch service, all at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

my husband and I visited once and enjoyed the meal even though they didn't have dosa. second time we visited, we were denied dining because they do not want to honor the business hours. The third time we ordered through the door dash and they canceled the order. Today, again I ordered and they cancel the order. The staff told me that the Dosa is not available but they didn't let me know. Our dinner plan was completely ruined. I am done ordering from them again.

I have been in to the resturant before and the atmosphere is amazing and beautiful. This time I ordered delivery through Uber. The Butter Chicken was absolutely delicious but was very slim ok the chicken. The naan was a bit burnt but still edible with my butter chicken. The desserts, I do NOT recommend!!! I got the Double Ka Meta was not good. It smells like cinnamon and glue and tastes like soggy burnt bread. I was so disappointed ?. But the test of their food tends to be amazing.
