This place checks all the boxes for me. The vibe is homely, and the staff is quick to serve.Now, let's talk about the food. For appetizers, we ordered fried chicken wings - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Then came the crispy fish, which was cooked to perfection. The Chengu fried chicken was the highlight of the meal, and the Sichuan tofu was a delicious vegetarian option.The entree options are enormous, and I guarantee they'll fill your hungry stomach and make you content afterward. This place is my new go-to spot, and I'll be coming here more often. Trust me, if you're a fan of Sichuan cuisine, you won't be disappointed. “Corner 17 has THE BEST Chinese food around! The hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, baos, chicken skewers, wontons, wonton soup, and fried rice are all absolutely delicious..and you get very generous portions for a fair price! We have never eaten in (we always order to go), but the little interaction I've had with the staff when I've picked up my orders has always been positive! Also, I REALLY appreciate the updated to-go bags...they're way more durable (I don't have to worry about my hefty order potentially breaking through the bottom like with the standard brown paper bags) and the insulation inside helps keep our food nice and hot until we're ready to chow down! There was a mess up in the kitchen; which doesn't happen often. They helped address it right away. Service was great. Clean and lively. Enjoyed the low key staff hints that we were waiting. Shows good communication imo.Vegetarian options: Large amount of veggie options as well as you don't get meat cross contamination at a pizza place as far as i know.“

“It was the first time having St Louis style ribs. They were fried and burnt to the consistency of charcoal. If that's the way there supposed to be then fine and not for me. The staff was very accommodating and let me switch them out for some dry rubbed smoked ribs and they were good. I also had the brisket and it was very good. I would go back again. Just need to know about the St Louis ribs. Not willing to give up.I was in town again and decided to give this place another try. The Mac- n -cheese, fries, popover, and this time the ribs were excellent. However the brisket was dry and tough. It really should not of been served. I've eaten at a lot of BBQ's joints and Salt + Smoke is not alone. They are all hit or miss.“

Not only that but the service was top notch, I needed some special changes to the sandwich for health reasons and the found a way to accommodate a very picky order which I greatly appreciate. “Amazing Baba Ganoush, Hummus and Tabouli. Grape leaves are fabulous as are falafel. A treat for vegans and non-vegans alike -- plenty of meat dishes as well. After you've had their baba and hummus, the supermarket stuff just won't taste right -- because it's not! Thank you Al-Tarboush.“

“I got the bed and chicken bowl. Healthy portion and very tasty. I would probably get an additional side of sauce next time. Prices could be posted a little better, but it wasn't crazy. The complimentary tea was delicious. I would order a full glass next time. The service was very friendly. Interior could use a little sprucing up and better storage of supplies, but I was there for the food.“

“Tumeric is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We have been here numerous times, and we were always happy with the quality of food and service here after each visit. The wait staffs have been friendly and welcoming. Tumeric provided a pleasant and soothing ambience in addition to comfy booth seatings.They sold out of chicken 65 tonight, so my partner got the Kale Palak Chaat. This was an interesting dish where kales was disguised in a yummy way - crispy and flavorful. We also got Paper Dosa and Butter Chicken. We tried a few places served Dosa in STL but Tumeric's Dosa is the best! I highly recommended the Paper Dosa here. Basically, Dosa is a thin, crispy, Indian style crepe made from fermented rice and lentil batter - definitely a vegan friendly item. You can pick your own fillings such as potato/egg/chicken or lamb. My favorite is the potato filling. Their butter chicken served with Basmati rice on the side was finger licking good!!!! The sauce was very buttery/creamy, and the chicken was very moist. “It's a small, cute little place to go into. Customer service is great. They are very nice and whatnot and make you feel very welcomed. You're glad to sit inside and there's a small table outside and of course the ice cream is great. I have the white vanilla dipped waffle cone. So good with the blondie ice cream. Highly recommend.Parking: I would say since it's in the loop your best bet is to walk or find other transportation near there. It's not a general parking area for it. Plus the loop anyway is better for just walking around anyway so that's not in fault of them“

“We stopped by Ranoush after a show so it was on the later side. I can't comment on the atmosphere earlier. It is a hookah bar as well so be aware if that makes you uncomfortable. The food was delicious! Everything we tried was spiced well, and excellently prepared. My only negative to the experience was the constant stream of music videos being shown. I believe I have now seen enough booty shaking to last a lifetime... Seriously. But hey, if that's your thing, more power to you. Just not for me. I might try going back earlier in the day, (or maybe get it to go?)“

“First time here and the food did not disappoint. The cheese curds were bomb and so was the burgers. The drinks were cheap and definitely full of liquor ?. Only problem we had was it was an hour wait for our food like literally. Also our onion rings came out burnt really bad, she took them back and never brung out a new fresh batch (did get taken off bill but I still wanted my food!) Staff is nice and friendly as much can be in a very crowded place. Definitely a lot to look at in there. Big“
