Pretty darn good BBQ. The brisket, beans and coleslaw are very good. Need better pickles would be my only suggestion. Some good bread and butter or sweet pickles would be nice.

You walk in,order at bar. Prices are average for this day in age. Both for us sands and a beer 20.$ filling and tasty. Patio out back nice lil place.

Delicious brisket, the tangy sauce was on point, and the fries were the best I've ever eaten! Atmosphere was easy going and staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!!

Great food, friendly staff, and fast service. They offer 10% off with the school discount card. No extra fee for take out service, that a nearby restaurant charges.

Expect to pay a little more here, but you get great quality food. Fries were amazing and the BBQ sandwich was perfect. Worth it!

Anna McLaughlin is the most amazing bartender!!! She had such a good attitude and was so friendly. She is super smiley!! She deserves a raise 100%. If you don’t give her a raise, I will hire her!!!!

It was just ok.Its wierd, you have to order at the bar, THEN sit down. The ribs were tender, but lacking some flavor. The pulled pork was lacking flavor too.But still, over all, not bad.

To start, food was good, wife enjoyed her sweet tea. That being said, had a terrible experience. Waitress told us that it was Wing Wednesday, so the wings were 75 cent apiece. My wife and I both heard her very clearly say the wings were “Seventy-five cent each”. We ordered 20 wings, as we were only looking to spend ~30 dollars for our whole meal. We both had an alcoholic beverage, and they were fine. When we were finished, I asked for a box, and said that it was a good value for seventy five cent a wing. She said, “Well, they’re 2.75 a wing actually”. It took me a minute to process that she was trying to tell me that instead of $15 for the food, they were charging us $55. The wings were good, maybe $1.25 apiece good, but not nearly worth 2.75. There was no way I could justify spending that much for 20 wings. I went to talk to her and another waiter about the misunderstanding and she insisted multiple times (very rudely) that she said they were 2.75 each. And again, it was impossible to mishear, since she said “cent” very clearly, and “two seventy five cent” doesn’t make sense, while “two dollars and seventy five cent” is very easy to distinguish. I believe she made a mistake when telling us what the price was, and instead of owning up to it, lied to protect her job. OR she simply didn’t realize what she had said. She called a manager and stepped very far out of earshot when talking to them, so I’m not sure what she said, but when she came back she told us that we would have to pay for the wings, but that they would comp our drinks, putting us quite a bit over what we intended to pay, just about double. She also mentioned that if something like this happened again, we would not be welcome back there. I paid, but I would not recommend the service to anyone. If a manager would like to reach out to me about this, I would be more than happy to talk about the experience, but this turned what had otherwise been a nice evening into a sour taste. I would not recommend it to anyone. I do want to make a note that the male waiter was very reasonable and friendly, though he stated that (understandably) he was new and wasn’t sure how to handle the situation.

Been here before and enjoyed it. Went this week with my family and can't say I'm impressed. Charging draft prices for cans of beer, every single employee (kitchen staff included) were sitting at the end of the bar together on their phones and socializing. Service was mediocre. What really gets me though is charging the SAME PRICE as Kansas City Joe's and Q39 for sub par bbq! We went to Q39 the next day after being disappointed by Muddy Creek and was blown away by the quality of product we got there for the same $18 a plate. I am all for supporting local and make the effort to support the Burg as much as possible.... Muddy Creek needs to step up and give us something worthwhile to support! Probably won't be going back. 2 stars was given because we liked the fries and sauce. ?‍♀️
