Baby, when I tell you this place is the real true definition of having flavor not just heat in your Mexican dishes. Came here on the whim because I was working in the area and oh my God I'm so blessed. Blessed beyond measure with the flavor and taste and service while being here . Very impressed! Coming from a couple big cities, and many trips to Mexico, we’ve had our share of Mexican. The location in a strip mall made us question it, but based on the good reviews we went for it and were not disappointed. Best thing for us was the steak tacos - sooo good. And the service was great, very friendly. Would plan to stop if we’re passing through the area again.

Decided to stop by Playa Azul while driving through town on the way home to KC. Was definitely not disappointed. The food is fantastic. The Camarones a la Diablo are the best I have had. My only complaint is that this joint is not in Kansas City. I would hit this place a couple of times a week if possible
