At noon on Sunday, I walked in to an almost-empty room. No hostesses waited at the door and the place was dark. I wasn't sure where to go or what to do until a server poked her head out of the back to tell me to sit anywhere I wanted. She seemed nervous.I ordered the muffuletta and okra. I forgot that this sandwich is often baked, which I don't like. It tasted like the chef used Pampered Chef's recipe for olive paste instead of giardiniera for the spread. Also, it seemed like bologna took the place of salami and mortadella. (Coincidentally, salami, mortadella, giardiniera, and a variety of cheeses could have been procured at Tony's Italian Grocery on Highway 13.) It didn't impress me; I have been to New Orleans twice, and I have eaten muffuletta many times. This just isn't it.The ambience wasn't as festive as I had hoped. Cheap masks hang everywhere, and some ersatz wrought-iron decorations feature. But the place was so dark! On top of it all, country music played, which didn't convey the theme of New Orleans at all.Hopefully things can change there for the better.

2nd times my family has come here to eat. The first time the Service was ok but the food was subpar. That being said we really wanted to give the place a 2nd chance. Unfortunately, this time was even a bigger let down. There was only one server when we arrived and a full room of customers. After sitting for over 15 minutes without service, we opted to leave and sadly I don't think we will be back.

A real hit or miss experience. The food is always delicious, but sometimes the wait is long. On our most recent visit, there was one waitress and one other delivering food from the kitchen. The catfish and Gumbo are some of our favorites.

I live out of town and I had to wait 2 months to get here. I've read their menu so many times I could pass a test about it. I love oysters and can't find anywhere near me to order them. See the crumbs in my basket they are not crumbs they taste like boiled canned oysters that at been breaded. They were tasteless and I keep eating one after the other hoping to get an oyster taste. All I could get was a greasy breading taste. You can also see the excessive grease in the basket too. Worst meal I've ever eaten. Plus it was expensive and this was the appetizer. The ambience was nice very festive and the waitress was kind. But the food was terrible I'm surprised they would even charge people for this. Left there sick from grease and I mean really sick and I kept belching oysters it was horrible.

By far the best restaurant in Warrensburg. The customer service is excellent. There is always a warm inviting hospitality whenever I visit. The food is superb. The zydeco pasta is top tier; filled with peppers, shrimp, sausage, mushrooms, and a creamy Cajun sauce with a baguette on the side. It comes out quick but is always hot when it reaches the table. I like to pair my meal with a pineapple hurricane. The drink's are always good but still pack a punch. The hurricanes are like a mini vacation under $10 lol. The establishment is very clean each time I visit, which is a plus. My experience is always great.

Very tasty, plenty of seating, decent alcohol selection, drinks refilled before empty!Vegetarian options: Pretty much only sides are vegetarian, the grits and I'm sure most items would be delicious if you just ask for it without the meat though.

The half plates make it easy to try multiple items, or eat "on the cheaper side". Love the food! Had to bring a friend back to try (he's from Louisiana). He's already planned our next trip back!

The Long Island sweet tea was $12.75 to my unfortunate surprise. It was very disappointing to find my drink was more than the price of my meal. No price on this on the menu but everything else had a clear price. Would not have gotten it if I had been informed of this insane price difference than the $2 beers my family got. Literally crying over this- i will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. This was very wrong what they did and I feel very scammed by them.
