This is a nice coffee place. I was able to catch up on a lot of paper work. I just needed to decompress! Boxes were waiting for me at home. Lol I had breakfast and lunch here!

Love this place!!! Hook my daughter up with a Tuxedo hot chocolate and add a warm, delicious fresh muffin!!! Omg. We will be back at least once a week. It's a beautiful gem in the heart of Washington.Kid-friendliness: Amazing clocks and different Antiques on the walls. Comfy chairs and couches. Tables and chairs that share a story.

Nothing bad to say. Lovely environment. Always take out of towners here. Never disappoints especially for breakfast. Their breakfast sandwiches, whether it be the biscuit, ciabatta or croissant sandwich, they're all incredible and a good price! This place is a gem in many ways. Incredible coffee too. I love getting the Washington Lavender very unique and delicious. Also everything in their bakery shelves, (especially the cranberry muffin!!) is wonderful. I hope this place stays around for many decades.
The drinks are mid, the service is trash. The older lady at the counter was asking what I wanted. I said “do you have Italian sodas?” She gave me a dirty look, and said “umm no, you mean smoothies?” And I said no, and then she walked away from the counter. Not sure how they were trained here, but in all my years of working customer service you try to understand the customer with a smile on your face and not walk away without asking anything else? Ended up not getting anything and walking out since I was ignored.

A few of the workers are completely rude. I was doing school there because I am a regular and I was about to order when one of the workers walked up to be with complete attitude and told me “ the coffee shop was not a library” and told me that if I am not going to order than I need to leave. Even though I was going to order, I did not want to after the attitude. I do not recommend sitting in this place due to the rude workers, I only recommend it for the coffee.

I want to start by saying I do enjoy this place and the atmosphere so much. I’ve been going here for about two years on and off so I was really surprised and slightly embarrassed when a worker came up to a different person and me to tell us that I can’t stay there unless I buy something because “that’s how they pay for their wifi” meanwhile I didn’t have any devices out, I had my textbook and notebook out. she then proceeds to tell me “the library is across the street” and that just wasn’t necessary to add. I came here for a reason; if I had wanted to go there, I would’ve! :) I’m not upset about needing to buy something because I usually buy something to support them! But I haven’t in the past, so I don’t know when this started and whether there’s a sign explicitly stating this policy. I think the lady employee could’ve overall been nicer about it.

Met a friend here for lunch. What a cute place! The decor is country/retro- spacious and very comfortable. We each had a sandwich. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The food was tasty and the portions were plenty. I will definitely go back and try the coffee next time!
