Food has changed, not as good as it used to be. The soda machine wasn't working, the tables and the floor were dirty. It was so cold inside that you needed a cooler suit just to sit inside. Don't believe we'll be going back. It's a really sad day for my wife and I.

Not like the Steak and Shake of years ago the french fries weren't as good they should have been cooked a little longer and a double cheeseburger was not the quality like it used to be from Steak and Shake probably won't be going back there

Got yelled at by an employee in the parking lot because I just wanted one shake as one of the employees walked out with food. The lady at the door continued to say they were closed but they arent supposed to be closing until midnight AN hour before closing time!

I went to Steak ‘n Shake in wentzville today I had to go back through the drive thru because there was a hair in my number 7 burger the lady that helped was Stephany when I got home to eat the burger there was another hair in my bigger not sure from who but I am sure I will not be coming back here.
Update 3/23/24: Well this place has gone down hill fast. The fries were cold. The cheese for the fries was just warm enough to be pourable. The burger had the condiments in blind instead of properly placed on the burger. The milkshake that was supposed to be missing the whipped cream but have the cherry, had neither and it was thin and melted. The floor was dirty, the tables were dirty and the employees were just sitting around doing nothing. There is no more table service, you have to order on a kiosk and then they have the nerve to ask you to leave them a tip. We did not leave a tip, you didn't provide the service for a tip .They were faster than usual. We went through the drive through so any more?

Steak n shake really did a 180 in my book. When my family and I go there the food is always hot and delicious! I just don't care for the drink situation, but it's understandable.

I have been to this store twice now and they were closed both times. The second time the door was broken so it didn’t lock, but there was no sign there saying they were closed and that the door was broken, so I walked in. I put in my order and it went through. It was only after this that the chef came up and told me they were closed. I asked about my order since it had already gone through and he offered to get a manager but the manager had already left for the night. I did not get my order even after it had already processed. This happened at 8:30pm. The sign on the door says 12am. The last time I went it was 10pm. If the hours have changed they need to be updated. And the staff needs to be better trained in caring for customers because this was a horrible experience that was not resolved.

We ordered 2 Tripple Patty Burgers, 2 orders of Fries, and 2 Cokes. Food was good, it was fresh.The ordering kiosk was okay, but the "scan the barcode at the drink dispenser" with every refill was super frustrating. Additionally, there were no posted instructions... we initially had no clue why the machine wouldn't dispense, until someone walked over to show us.
