Checked out the Wentzville Diner a week ago and could not be more excited to visit again. The service and the food was amazing.

Liver and onions you need to order. Cooked to perfection. It was good as advertised.New location is outstanding. Much more room to spread out. Wait time has been decreased substantially.

Very disappointed we both got a special for Thursday. She got 1/2 fried chicken dinner is 4 pieces and I got stir fry. Her meal cost more that what on the menu when not the special, my meal was pricey. When asked about was told with the special the portions are bigger disagree 1/2 chicken dinner is 4 pieces.

We were originally going to go somewhere else but ultimately decided to try something new. We were seated really fast and had a hard time deciding what order because everything on the menu looked so good! I ordered plain crepes with strawberries and chocolate chips?, expecting two small crepes covered in strawberries with some chocolate chips like you would find at any other diner, but got giant crepes with a buttload of strawberries and chocolate chips and I could barely finish one! It was one of the best crepes I ever had and I really wanted to finish them but they were incredibly filling, so if you decide to come here make sure you come hungry!

I don’t know how this isn’t rated at 5 stars. The staff was friendly and fast, our server was Abbi and she always had a smile on her face. It’s very nice inside, clean and great atmosphere. As great as all of that is, the food was the best part. It was delicious, by far one of the best if not the best breakfasts I’ve ever had at a diner. The portions are huge so come hungry.

Had gone to another restaurant in Wentzville for nearly ten years religiously every Thursday. Decided to try other establishments. Have tried seven other local eateries now in the last four months. Have settled on Wentzville Family Diner due to their good food, generous sizing, friendly people. Can not wait until they move to their new location across from the post office, across from the ice ring.

We had open faced roast beef and it took me back to my childhood. The desserts looked phenomenal, but no where to put dessert.

Fantastic breakfast in a simple, clean atmosphere. Nothing more than necessary in decor. Who cares?! The food was great & ample. The waitress was very busy but as attentive as she could be as she rushed around.Kid-friendliness: The kids loved it. Chocolate chip pancakes & banana caramel crepes were a hit.
The quintessential roadside dinner. The location is small and very busy, so if you are not a social person, you might be a little uncomfortable. Food is good and you get a lot so come hungry.

If you are not a regular, expect to be stared at as you walk in. Haha.Food us good, Greek skillet highly recommended, waffles are not worth $10, biscuits and gravy are a serious no. Service... not so good. It was slow, Jamie was tired, just not impressive.

Everything we had for breakfast was delicious. I am very picky about hash browns and biscuits and gravy both were done to prefaction. We will be coming back. Heard they will be moving soon. Can't wait to see the New place

Had gone to Rookies every Thursday for 10 years. Waitess (Sari -red) was nice but owner has negative attitude. Food used to be good now just tolerable. Started going to Wentzville Family Diner. Food higher quality, waitresses seem to care about customers. Moving to new location shortly which will improve atmosphere greatly. Wentzville has many eateries but for the money Wentzville Family Diner is a step above. Worth the visit.Parking: Plenty of parking, old site deceiving new site at 901(?) Main Plaza across from post office much improved,
