“Some of the best server's in town!!! The Hibler family has one heck of a restaurant with an amazing reputation. I must say that if you haven't gone to eat there thn you're definitely missing out!!!!The raspberry jalapeno sauce is hands down the BEST I have ever had. The Reuben is popular and oh so delicious ?Parking: Trailer parking along the back side of the establishment as well as boats, sxs, and other trailers.“
“If you are on HWY63 in Missouri traveling and you like to eat locally(like we do),then the Hometown Diner is for you!! The people are friendly and the food is amazing! Want to eat a grandma-like meal? Stop here!! It was definitely worth the stop and it is right on the hwy. Shonna was our waitress and she was amazing (friendly and waiting with the much needed coffee!) we had the Little Hometown breakfast there and it was just what we needed! The price was excellent for what you received.I’m just going to say avoid the fast food joints and stop here. You won’t be disappointed!!!“
“While in West Plains this weekend we stopped in here, it was hard to find bcuz there was no sign but we found it and the food was great! Im not sure why it's called a piano bar as I didn't see a piano but we were seated in the bar area. We had the new York strip it was perfect, but the drinks were were it's at. I had the blackberry bourbon smoked old fashion?? I think, and it was excellent! My husband had the Irish smoked old fashion, ( I don't know why all the signature drinks are named the same or why they are all smoked but i liked it! ) I don't know the waiter who served us, he didn't introduce himself but I wish he had because the drinks he made us were even better than the first ones. If you get a chance to stop in here do it! You won't be dissapointed. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the app. But to be fair the manager warned me before I ordered it, and it was good just could have been better if it was made to order instead of made ahead of time. Everything else made up for it. It's a little higher in price for this tiny town but well worth the money. The service was good and they were fairly quick and the food was good but again their signature drinks were the best part of it all.Parking: Parking was a bit limited because it's on court square but if you don't mind walking a short ways there's parking down the side of the street as well and parking is free.“
“The service was wonderful the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming a really great family restaurant. My stake wasn't cooked to my liking and the manager comped my meal which was amazing for them to do. The food was excellent and plenty of it also.“
“This is a top spot in our town known for affordable food/very nice waitresses/Markie is the manager and keeps the ship running tight. Also she hand makes all the pies that you will see in the refrigerator by the register. I highly recommend trying one of her cherry ? pies.“
“It's a drive in to I have always liked a drive in. The menu is like a drive in and not to crazy like some menu get. I had the number one hamburgerIt comes with ketchup, onion, pickles and mustard of those I only care for mustard. A little lettuce and tomato would have been nice. The bun tasted fine but it was a little to much bread for my taste. My wife loved her sandwich. So we will be back“
“We haven't been to a Ruby Tuesday's in years, so it seemed like a good time to go. I got the Smokehouse Burger and my wife got a Bourbon Chicken breast. The service was great! For being Easter Sunday and right after church, we were never forgotten. We were seated immediately, and the drink orders were quick and correct, as was the food order. The food. My burger was swimming in so much bbq sauce that the bun began to fall apart pretty quickly. Aside from that, the temp was spot on, and it was still warm when it came out. What I didn't expect was the paper divider used to allow you to separate frozen patties from each other on the meat. Tough to chew.My wife's chicken breast was overcooked and dry. The Bourbon sauce had an off taste neither of us could describe. We're sure that in the after church mode, some things are missed, and some things go wrong.“
“The one server at the register who was taking orders, making ice cream and also delivering orders to the tables was doing a great job. She gets 5 stars. But the fact that the store only had one server and expected her to take care of everybody earned the restaurant as a whole 0 stars. So average it out to 3 stars.“
“We stopped in Friday evening late (like 45 minutes before closing) hoping we might still get dinner. We had never dined at the Fish Shack but we had some serious cravings for catfish and shrimp. There was a fair crowd already enjoying their meals. The Hostess assured us that we were by no means too late. "Come on in and relax and let us know when you are ready to order". She was so sweet and efficient. I am so glad we decided to risk it.I ordered the large catfish dinner, after being warned I may not be able to eat it all. It was the best catfish I have had outside my home state of Louisiana! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. My wife and her sister had the popcorn and butterflied shrimp, again very large portions. They asked for to go boxes right away. Silly girls – no boxes needed. They finished off those shrimp in style. Ok, I helped a bit. The sides; coleslaw, sweet potato fries, baked potato and side salad were great too. Our Hostess was not only sweet she was FAST – out of 5-6 refills on my soft drink I don’t think an empty glass ever hit the table before the next one was there beside it. Before we left, I had the chance to meet the owner Stacy, he was sitting at one of the tables talking to guests. I let him know that his restaurant was like walking into mom’s kitchen, so friendly, inviting and the best food around. So good that we went back for lunch Saturday – my turn on those butterfly shrimp. My wife ordered a cheeseburger and was amazed that they were able to keep the patty juicy without any pink showing (a deal breaker for her).Without hesitation we know where to go for seafood and burgers!!!“
