I would give Avalon a 4.5 but that is not an option so I rounded up. Great atmosphere and great food and really a reasonable price.....you get a lot for your $$.

I could tell that the food wanted to be amazing, but it lacked somehow. The bruschetta was the best food we got, but both the sandwiches were unremarkable. Both me and my partner ate our whole meals but we decided we wouldn't get either of our entrees again if we decided to go again. Staff were incredible and seemed very knowledgeable about the specials and the menu items. It made our trip to Avalon very enjoyable. It was a cute little cafe that gave off small town comfy vibes. I would go for the experience. I feel like we might have just picked the wrong thing to eat and would be willing to try again.

Parking: It's on a fairly steep hill, the close spots are usually full, many of the spots are in front of homes. You'll most likely have to use the street parking down the hill, and walk up.

Fantastic. Me and my boyfriend went here for our Anniversary and the food was just divine. The staff put little hearts on our table for our anniversary, how cute. The ambiance is fantastic, it's casually upscale. You feel like you're eating in a home but it's a restaurant!! Definitely stop by here while your in Weston.

A Weston gem!! Our first visit to Avalon and certainly not our last! The prices are so reasonable and the food was exceptional! I had the lunch salmon (generous portion and perfectly cooked) that included par boiled/fried potatoes with a cream sauce, wilted spinach, steamed broccoli and julienne candied carrots. My husband had the Cajun Chicken sandwich and loved it. The menu had so many awesome selections to choose from.

Sitting outside on the porch durning the nice weather is why we go, food is meh and food priced. If you want something different its a nice change, don't get the ribs the ones down the street at the tin kitchen are way better.

For the prices, we had high expectations. The service was GREAT. But they sat 3 of us at a table obviously meant for 2. We were on top of each other...very glad our 4th person couldn't make it. The food was good, not great, but with generous servings. I ordered an Apple Torte which was delicious, but unfortunately, the "fluffy" crust was like rubber. I couldn't even cut into it, and chewing it was rough. And it was SO WARM in there!

We were really disappointed! I had the filet which wasn't prepared how I ordered it in addition to being served lukewarm. My husband did like the fish he ordered but my son ordered the ribs and they weren't even as good as many chain restaurants. We all thought the food was rather bland as well. Our waitress was top notch but unfortunately we can't recommend this restaurant, especially for the hefty cost.
