El Mariachi offers a unique feature in a Mexican restaurant. They have a buffet full of delicious entrees to choose from. There is something for everyone in the buffet. If you don't find anything (which I doubt will happen!) they have an extensive menu to order from. Dessert is available in the buffet as well. I'm from Tucson, AZ and have been understandably disappointed in the Mexican food available in Batesville, MS. However, this was very good, authentic food. The guacamole was excellent, the salsa could have been hotter, but still had good flavor, and the fajitas were very good. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience that I would recommend to anyone.

My waiter Amanda was awesome at the bar. However, Candace was very rude to her while I was ordering food. Candace stated after I told her I was talking to Amanda to place a order "She has a job to do" ? ok she was doing her job while listening to me and taking my order. EVERY CUSTOMER MATTERS PERIODT!Kid-friendliness: Candace said that table need a high chair & flipped her hair.
