We absolutely love this place. When we go to visit the area, The Ugly Pirate is on the agenda! The outside area has plenty of seating. The decor inside is super funky. The staff has always been kind every time we go. And the pizza is delicious! They have multiple beers on tap, as well as hard ciders and a couple kinds of seltzers.

One of the best hangouts in the bay. The beer selection for very good for a small bar, and the pizza and popeye bread come out fast. They take credit cards now. Just FYI for those that haven't been in a while.

Cool little place for food and drinks. It was pretty busy, so it took a bit to get drinks at the bar. Live band, tables outside, with a couple of small TVs. The inside is small and only one bathroom, but porta potties too, at least during Cruising the Coast.Overall, we enjoyed it, and the pizza was good.

We stumbled upon this place one night and could not be happier! Very small but cozy/dim inside. Only beer and seltzers but a large selection available. The pizza and spinach bread are to die for! We are locals and take date night for pizza and beer any time we can!

This is a nice little indoor/outdoor bar. They have live music. A good variety of beers, draft beer, and cocktails. They have several nice views. The bathrooms are very hot, very small but clean.

My family & I love this place! Great pizza, Popeye bread & gyros. Nice selection of beer as well. Laid back, friendly staff and charming place.

Good pizza , cold beer. It’s a tiny little bar so there’s a wait if it’s crowded. The whole ole town scene can get pretty busy nowadays so be patient. No Guinness on tap is a bummer

There's nothing Ugly about The Ugly Pirate!I went to the Ugly Pirate with my friends on a Friday night, and we were immediately impressed by the atmosphere. The place is small and cozy, the Pirate theme made it fun and inviting. The locals at the bar made us feel right at home, especially Rick and Kirk, who seemed to be unpaid employees as they kept leaving their drinks to help the staff take out the trash, change kegs, and buss tables. We started our meal with a round of drinks, and I was happy to see that the Ugly Pirate has a great selection of beer on tap. I ordered my favorite beer, a Beach Bum and it was perfectly done. For our main course, we ordered the Caribbean pizza and it was amazing! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were flavorful and well-balanced.While we were eating, we were entertained by the extremely talented Kelsey Moran band. They played a great mix of classic rock and country, and they really got the crowd going.Overall, we had a great time at the Ugly Pirate. The food was delicious, the drinks were cold, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat and drink in Bay St. Louis."P.S. I also wanted to mention that Brittany, the bartender, was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and I swear she could read your mind when you needed another drink. I had the coldest drink of my life at the Ugly Pirate, and it was all thanks to Brittany.

Very small bar with a very friendly atmosphere. Numerous tap beers. Met several locals who were immediately friendly.
