Amazing dining experience in a truly classic southern restaurant. Our group of 5 sampled so many many delicious items. My favorite was the Petite Soft Shells and the Escargot. Others in the group had speckled trout, crab cakes, and triple tail and everyone loved it. Our server, Orenthal, was top notch. Great service, a wealth of knowledge, and maybe the funniest server I have ever encountered Ask for him.

Amazing gumbo! Terrific service from Shauna. Perfect setting in a well-preserved house from the 1700's. Great respite from the vacant lots and Casinos the area.

Gumbo is delicious and loaded with shrimp. Fried crab claws and soft shell crab appetizers were great. Shrimp and grits were okay (shrimp was good, grits too mushy for me, but that's a personal preference). The stuffed flounder looked great! Good salad dressings. Service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is perfect! Food was fast. We went on a Thursday around 1pm. Not busy at all!
