The woman wasn’t very friendly. They looked like they didn’t want to be at work. Food did not taste like Jamaican food at all. My dad is from Kingston so i know what authentic food supposed to taste like. I ate two bites off the chicken and knew it wasn’t right. Asked for a partial refund being that plate was still full, they told me no. I will definitely stick with coastline Caribbean for my Jamaican food.

I’m not kidding when I say that this was the best meal I have ever had. Get the jerk chicken and the curry combo. I’m very disappointed that I will most likely not get to try this again since I’m not from this state.

One of my best spur of the moment lunch decisions. I was craving expertly made oxtail and Perry’s satisfied that itch well. Don’t let the cozy size of the establishment fool you. The flavors, the personalities, and the welcoming energy are all larger than life. Drop in and let them serve you a plate!

It's Saturday, July 22, 2023 we were visiting from Louisiana for the weekend. While staying at the rv resort park just up the street from this place we decided to give it a try. The reviews were all pretty good about the food which really made me want to give them a try and bc I love caribbean food.First I'll start by saying the name of the lace is no longer Perry's Caribbean & Seafood it is now Rasta. Now I've had really good authentic jamaican food and although it may be authentic, it is far from great. The food is mediocre at best. I got the oxtails, rice and beans, and fried plantains and my husband got the j*** chicken, potato salad, and rice/beans. Although the portions are a good amount for the price, the food was not that good. The j*** chicken taste like they just poured bbq sauce out of a bottle on it. The oxtail were cut pretty thin and weren't that meaty and did not have any flavor. The plantains was just okay.Don't get me wrong I love to support the local black and brown businesses but I'm also going to give my honest opinion about the quality of food and service given in hopes of the owners stepping up their game. The young lady working the counter wasn't knowledgeable of the food on the menu which was a negative alright she was pleasant. The building is small which is no big deal but it was very hot in there. I would love to give them another try the next time we come visit bc we will be staying in the same location and this place is within walking distance of the rv park. So I hope that the food will be much better but next time before I buy, I will be asking for a sample before I waste my money.Parking: The parking is very limited and the building kind of blocks the street making it very dangerous to turn into Pass Rd from their Parking lot so be very careful.

Arrived at 11am. J*** chicken taste like burnt chicken maybe because it was from the day before. Most certain. Mac also beans were room temp. Avoid this place for earlier

Really great place for some Caribbean food! Portions were great, although prices are different than online cause of inflation. Only negative side was inside was kinda cramped, few seating areas. But, the experience is definitely worth it

The j*** chicken tasted more sweet than spicy to me, but the whole meal was delicious nonetheless. Great first experience. The service was friendly and fairly quick. We ordered the special for the day (**** chicken, cabbage, red beans & rice and a soda). The location seems pretty popular with the Armed Forces too.

Outstanding Jamaican fare! It’s a quaint hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but don’t let the modest location fool you. I had the j*** fish plate (red snapper). Sides: stewed cabbage and fried plaintains. I finished half an hour ago; I’m ready to go back. The fried plaintains are indescribably good, portions of everything were generous. The service was friendly and attentive. Check it out for sure!
